EE is a comfy profession. congrats on completing your degree. I did CS in college and EEs were always way smarter than me whenever we had crossover courses together. valedictorian of my graduating class about 10 years ago was unironically double EE/CS major and he's been working at Skydio (working on drones and sheit) and re-investing his money into real estate.

I still have hopes for tech to go a different direction but everyone is obsessed with convenience (and none of this really affects the bottom line from a time-savings perspective). These products provide little/no "productivity boost" to the real economy.
There are a few good ideas, but most products are complete shit, poorly written proprietary garbage written by some of the least creative people I've ever had the privilege of working with.
