The cons aren’t that big of a con. Sg Rental should be affordable if you come from a big city like LA or NY. Definitely lots of pros moving to Singapore. Only con I can think of is how annoyed the locals are of foreigners, but they pussyshit to do anything about it since their people live comfortably and make good money anyways

I've spent a fair amount of time in Singapore. It's definitely one of the coolest cities I've been to and I've been to most of the good ones.
It's an extremely superficial society and it's exorbitantly expensive. Owning and driving a car in Singapore is the ultimate sign of wealth as you pay huge amounts to get and keep a license.
The bar on the top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel is ridiculous. I paid $40 for a single vodka and soda and that was 2 years ago.
The areas around the Quay where all the ex-pats hang out are where you wanna be. Less expensive and lots of hot, easy girls (if you have cash of course).
Overall if money is no object its an awesome city but if you're not wealthy I can't imagine it being fun.

desu i dont know why anyone would ever want to live in china or be around mainlanders, extremely ugly language. most japanese people only speak very basic english they learn in high school you wont connect with anyone there unless they went abroad so it is worth learning, i already said i dont recommend people going to asia in general unless theyre asian im just there for part of the year usually i do consider it a second home though
