Removed my PhD in Physics and MSc in Physics

>unironically started getting interviews at Mcdonalds and Dominoes

Well I guess they pay better than my lab rat job before

Thanks for reminding me that Physics is a completely unemployable degree for the sub 180 IQ. I actually have no regrets working for Mcdonalds or Dominoes to be honest. It may be a shitty job, but at least its good honest work. They're even treated better than lab rat slaves in research institutions.

programming? finance?
there are good exit routes for physicists

Just get a job at a consulting firm like lmao @ ur lyfe

learn to code is the biggest meme ever
pajeets do it for $5 a day

Tried initially but I'm just not good enough. I lack the logical thinking and spatial IQ required to crack leetcode, and honestly after I while I just fucking hated coding and the whole culture surrounding it.

This.

This. How can someone be smart enough to have a PHD in physics but can't figure out how to do a career switch?
I'd tell you to get a job in the restaurant industry but it is also soul crushing work. At least you can get paid well if you don't care about career advancement and working unitl 3am in some cases (not all).
When I say restaurant I'm not talking about Applebees. If the average server / bartender doesn't ring $1500+ on a consistent basis it's not worth your time.

See

Honesty, time it takes to become anything more than a pajeet is not worth it in late 20s. Maybe pick one thing and learn to code so you can fo that one thing, like something you actually like to work on/maintain.
Consulting is where it’s at, but sperg’s don’t get hired there easily.
