It’s a dying scam actually. The whole academia larp with formal proofs etc produced nothing in 3 years but a centralized testnet. They won’t have smart contracts on mainnet for at least 3 years and when they do nobody is going to bother learning their retarded new language to use an unproven network built by a sociopath. The move is to big on more performant eth compatible networks like Fantom or Harmony. Developers can port directly over for 200x performance m. This the next step.. not some utopian larp that might be a thing in 5 years.

Now it looks like 100k is a bare minimum to make it to have a few million dollars in the future but man we dont really know...
For now 100k to be sure,maybe in 2022 people are saying 10k to make it or less.

Ethereum is pretty much a broken shitcoin that they assembled in a rush. The only way to fix it is to smash it down and rebuild it from scratch. Charles Hoskinson realised this before anybody else and started work on building Cardano.

unfortunately cardano smart contracts unironically don't exist and won't launch for 2 years, then for reasons I've already stated, nobody will use them. There are several networks that are improvments to the good parts of ethereum that are just going live and they are far better oppotunities than supporting Charles' extravagant lifestyle for 2 more years only for it to fail.

I'll update quickly. Shelly and Goguen have been in development simultaneously. Shelly is pretty much complete now and we are moving into the Goguen era which is the implementation of smart contacts. This is nearly finished buddy which means we are going to see smart contracts go live within the next 190 days.

his biggest problem is corda, hyperledger and daml actually building for solidity
he can either grab solidity and put it on cardano or face a uphill "battle"

It's not gonna happen.. If it does the price will be around $0.50 by then, Coinbase are going to be a custodian for cold storage staking. This plus smart contracts going live is probably going to push the price near to $1
