My understanding of Link and RLC leads me to conclude that they are competitors in the same space, where Link has the clear advantange.

Link and RLC perform off chain work whose results can be trusted. They differ initially on what kinds of work they decided to focus on. RLC focused on computation, Link on data retrieval. But both can be modified to do the other.

Link has far greater visibility and I am assuming Link's consensus mechanisms are superior to RLC's. As such Link ultimately is a "better" RLC.
