imo the same thing happened to link and is valid. 10k link was suicide at ICO, then as people realized the value prop of link, it was clear that 10k is a make it stack, while 1k became suicide.

and honestly most of the confusion comes from what people perceive to be make it. some want the billionaire playboy lifestyle, others just want a cabin in the woods. there is no single answer.

imo, if you had the vision to buy link sub $1 or even for something like $2-3, and then you had the fortitude to hold it to 3 or 4 digits, you will probably do well in other investing endeavors, be they crypto or not. you don't need to "make it" from a single investment anyway. the market won't disappear after link hits 3 or 4 digits. there will be plenty of opportunities everywhere. wealth is accumulated over time and over many market cycles.
