Economic systems are interlinked. There are chinese who make investments in other countries and vice-versa, so if there's a economic agent (for instance a bank) which has very diverse investments or clients there's a chance that the whole system goes to shit. Similar to how a virus spreads.
Crypto may take a hit as well it depends on how people in this economic pie slice are interlinked with the rest of the system.
China and the world might be done, yes. It may be a matter of time.
