There's a certain kind of people who browses this board, which you can find everywhere actually. People who follow trends and get burned hard, then complain about being dumped on or even worse, scammed. I still don't get how things like EthX, ALCH or DUAL managed to get traction in the threads here when they had very obivious signs of being scams. I can get behind trying to gamble and besting the pajeets at their own game but this is not a safe method long term if you seek to make your portfolio grow.
Retards will learn this lesson the hard way. Slightly above average IQs will stop doing so and actually think twice. Same goes for /dvn/, I might be shilling the token quite aggressively but in the end the decision to actually buy relies on you. Right now, it's cheap and hasn't gotten much exposure. Mcap is low and the product is working as intended, you actually get your ETH right now. It doesn't take much to picture how good the profits will be when this thing catches on and gets higher volume due to popularity.
I only had enough eth to buy 120ish tokens, but I put 100 up to stake because 1.5 tokens a day is a comfy dividend in my opinion

The ETH I get from the 25% in holdings is for cheap available change that could be used for several things, just in case. Not the brightest strategy out there, I'll admit.

However, one thing I might find worth noticing is that while the huge amount of dividends we get right now despite the low volume is an attractive selling point, I fear that once we actually get started with an initial hype period, the divs will get even lower than what we have now once the action cools down. It might be possible the devs set things up in a way to attract people, then sneakily let the people buying and selling bear the brunt so to speak. However this very well may be a strong paranoid sentiment on my part, since the contract is already locked and all.

Consider the following : the divs right now despite the low volume are great, which should break even with the tax in only 10 days or so after buying right now. What if DVN catches on, with higher trade volume as time passes? It will still be a "40%" tax to enter and exit, but in no way it will be an illiquid asset. You will be able to take profits. Time and exposure will be our greatest allies here.
Perhaps next time I make this thread I should include that the money you're ready to put in DVN isn't something you were planning to use to trade but really to INVEST and seeing it grow over time. Poorfag or not, leaving your money to gradually increase over time and sleeping soundly without thinking about it is in no way a bad idea.

I think this uniswap moonshot craze has blinded people to real gems, I see people pop into the DVN discord and keep on checking when it'll be available on uniswap. They just need a quick P&D and not steady compounding income. I've been warning people of multiple scams as and when they've listed, even posting all the etherscan transactions tracing back to their previous exit scams, still people keep on feeding these scammers. This project has done already done much more than 90% of the current uniswap hotshots(not naming any) but most of the current staking/deflationary hybrids don't really offer the variety of options DVN is offering. Anyhow I've good feeling about this and I've put some of my profits from other coins into this, I'm in for the long run

Because some of the projects really managed to get traction based on legit working products, like MRDN, DECH, STA, and ACID even more recently. Not all of the Uniswap projects are scams but as you've said it kinda conditioned people into thinking and believing they will be able to ride the short term profits wave constantly. Since I don't feel lucky enough to do this on a weekly basis, I'm glad something like DVN came to be available. Switching between telegram and discord channels, staying up late to see the devs reporting their progress or trying to buy the rumors really worsened my mental and physical health this month hence why i think this token will help me sleep better. Just like with slow moonshots like XSN or DMG, despite what all of the fudders are trying to make you believe.

I'm conflicted. On one hand this thread so far doesn't smell curry but on the other hand the token being shilled here is literally and unironically a ponzi if I understood things correctly. You can't get dividends without more people joining and buying to maintain the system working. Meaning at some point it will die out and people will start to sell en masse, so you'd have to be REALLY early if you want to see any gains before the time runs out. Why should someone invest in something that not only take 40% of your money in hostage but is also too dangerous to be maintained on its own?

It's a fucking ponzi for sure but I'm still in (with money I can afford to lose). The truth is, 95% of crypto is ponzi. What matters is being early and this has like 100 people in it.
The buy/sell taxes are steep but it takes like 10 days of dividends to offset them and after that it's smooth cruising. And yes, you actually do get to withdraw your dividends, they're not just numbers on the screen like on some scams.
