It depends on how much you have to spend, GOLD is the riskier one because of how many foreign mines but its northern canadian mine will run and is a safe play (im canadian no gov will take away jobs from natives and help them). Mining is a slow climb but honestly buying the companies stock directly has always helped me so if you have long term to invest go for it if you feel confident.
