yeah i know how they work, if you want to compound your position you can do that with perps aswell. usually nobody wants that though because it increases your risk so the logical thing to do is take some profits and decrease your risk instead which is literally the opposite of what leveraged tokens do.
additionally, you pay massive fees on lev tokens and since they rebalance every day, after a swing in either direction you WILL end up with less token value then the last time the underlying asset was at the exact same price

0.005 looks like a good short doesn't it? just don't over-commit and add on the way up
