i figured it was going to dump hard when people started selling droppign the price under $1 so not only would it end up dumping in value it would end up halving my supply which would then cause more panic dumping on a slope down to zero

but it turns out everyone is just fucking holding and putting it in the uniswap liquidity pool and nobody is fucking selling so it never has to halve

my scenario will happen eventually but it looks like it's a long way off but now i'm even more nervous to buy in. i fucked up

Price does not matter. Do you want to make 10% on whatever amount you buy in two hours? Then buy. It's that easy. If you put in $1000 within two hours your bag will be worth $1100 at 10 pm eat. Feel free to extrapolate with whatever figures you like.

Just understand that the price will gravitate back to around $1, but as long as it's above $1.05 you get positive rebase.
So you could lose dollar value if it dumps, but if it stays above $1.05 for let's say two months, you would have made a killing in rebase.
It is definitely a risk, but designed to reward you for holding long term

i'm not fudding at all this is going to happen unless i am misunderstanding the system which is possible. you would have to be pretty stupid to buy in today nobody is using this as currency nobody is even selling they're just putting it in the liquidity pool but when people eventually start selling this will fall faster than any shitcoin has in history

You gotta go with market cap on this one. It's a measly 42M. a 1.2B marketcap is a x30 from here, and not an unrealistic target in the mid-term (couple months maybe?) .. Shit, this could go even higher if a json parser is sitting at an absurd 2.3B marketcap.

It drops because rebase affects the Uniswap pool. AMPL supply gets bigger compared to ETH, and price "drops" accordingly.

And most of the time it gets bought up pretty quick. You gotta understand this doesn't go by price but by marketcap. If you own 1% now, you'll own 1% when the marketcap reaches 1B or 10B. You could buy 1 AMPL at 5$ right now and with positive rebases and Mcap increase you could have 25 AMPL worth 1$.

This coin isn't your typical biz PnD. Buy now, put in Geyser for 3 months, be rich.

Ample is money. There is no marketcap ceiling.

You did it right, but you took the "safe" route. You will still get rebase value but it will be paid mostly in eth.
To get the rebases everyone has a hardon for, you simple but ampl and wait until 10 pm for the extra tokens to magically appear in your wallet.
I have a third in geyser and the rest just collecting in my wallet.

Go read the whitepaper and the redbook. But in short, if you add to uniswap liquidity you get UNIV2 tokens for the AMPL-ETH pair, and if you stake those, you get daily AMPL.

The longer you keep it in, the more you get (up to x3 for 3 months). And rebase also affect Geyser and liquidity pool so there's people making stupid amounts of money right now.
