I am wondering what kind of stocks I should buy. Currently, I have $6k in an IRA, mostly in JNJ
I want to buy more on my brokerage account, but I don't know which stocks I should pick. Should I choose companies that are doing well and making money in this "work from home" remote environment? Im thinking stocks mainly like MSFT, DOCU, AMD, ADBE, AMZN, SHOP etc. The problem with these stocks is that they are all at all time highs and therefore risky to buy.
On the other hand I could buy stocks that are not performing well such as telecom, energy, oil, airlines REITs etc. that are not near all time highs, but aren't making as much money right now.
And then theres biotech stocks- like PFE ABBV GILD NVAX and MRNA and INO which are killing it now with vaccine anticipation. Where do I begin? Should I just buy 1/3rd of each kind?
