How long will it take for exchanges to offer staking after it is publicly accounced? I chose to spend my money buying up as much LINK as possible instead of diversifying in Linkpool tokens, so I'm planning to use exchange staking services. How much can we expect to make from staking?

It will be rather easy to use node-as-a-service from LP or one of the many competitors that will pop up, they deploy and host your personal node with no tech knowledge needed...the same as you would a website or gaming server.
ROI will fall between 5 and 10% imo. Lower and the network fails because no one is risking/tying up 100m in capital to barely beat inflation. over 10% and the market should react by increasing the base price of a token.
3-5 years from now should be in the 300-500/l/r range, although it may be quite unevenly distributed. Undiluted and at '20 purchasing "power" (lol misnomer fucking boomerjews). Source: I learned how to google total yearly revenues and overhead for major industries.

Dude not even Sergey could answer that to any useful degree of accuracy. It will depend on demand, how many are staking, pooling services, link supply locked in nodes. Safe bet 3-5% p.a maybe more at first.

there is no average. every node is a business. staking positions will be limited. returns will be all over the place. all that matters is the node you're able to get into. don't expect exchanges to be profitable for staking. why would you?

Dude, just because you're staking your tokens in a node doesn't mean the node will get jobs, or even super profitable jobs at that or even a consistent amount of jobs. Sergey is literally paying developing teams to run jobs right now, and Chainlink is heavily vetting who gets jobs in the first place. When service level agreements and the whole shebang comes in, it's going to be a new frontier in the dynamics of it'll play out.
