Why are manga sales so low this week?

Probably Corona-chan.

Might be due to state of emergency. Printing and buying at stores might somewhat be restricted to some extent.

Where's MHA?

aside from KnY, all manga are affected by corona

Hopefully on the chopping block

There aren't any particularly big releases this week, numbers might be a tad bit lower due to corona but they are honestly mostly in line with what I'd expect

Should remain the same for about 2 weeks (don't think anything big releases next week either but I might be wrong, and jump releases got delayed), then on the 13th kimetsu 20, SxF 4 and haikyuu will release

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Probably on Top 100

Gotoubun sold over 300k last week, why is it so huge?

>#3 Kaguya-sama wa kokurasetai 18 - 92,999/195,182

Toubun is finished if the final volume only barely sold more than Kaguya in the middle of one of its weaker story arcs.

Kaguya is in the middle of its anime boost and couldnt even outself half of what toubun sells after 2 and a half months of being over. hahahaha

That's only half of the sales btw, there's also the special edition.

Based

Attached: 765435677765.png (230x230, 88.47K)

I quite dislike toubun and love kaguya, but even to me that post seems like cope.

It needs to get carried by the special edition. Without that it almost worse by half compared to the previous volume.

>Kaguya does not even sell half of toubun in the middle of season 2 airing

Special edition is actually pretty expensive and only comes with a few extra pictures. I'm really surprised it's selling so well.

That huge gap between KnY and OP in the series sales.

It's the third highest selling series of the year so far

that the key, its being over.. its last volume..

well its over now..while kaguya still running.. had more success anime and movie

Just what happened to One Piece?

Oda made a joke about that guy who kept fighting WW2 after it was over and the Japanese people turned on him.

So you were belittling toubun last volume sales couldn't outdo much of Kaguya, but when you're proven wrong you move the goalpost to Kaguya is still running? Or are you different user from that one?
Also anime season 1 toubun did better than Kaguya. Seeing how manga sales had no boost after live action movie, the audience were probably normalfags who watch the movie to see the actors.

Just top 10

Only top ten for 'series' rank.
You got top 50 for 'per volume' rank.
Of course if a series doesn't release a new volume that week it is likely that they won't appear on the rank.

Is OP really getting axed soon? It's gone from first place to 29th...

That few extra pictures are like 80, and it wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for those store bonuses being them. Those who bought earlier volumes, but settled on not collecting all of the pics, now can.

> Kingdom - 170,267

Did nip literally love Chink story setting ?

Special editions are just a way of banking on what is popular. Kimetsu no yaiba is already announced to be getting special editions for volumes 20, 21, 22 and 23 for example.

Kingdom has always been big in Japan. It was like the 4th highest selling series last year

What does the first column say? I'm not sure but 2nd column is music(?), 3rd column is novel(?) and 4th column is manga(?). The double circle means the most profit?

Ancient Chinese Epic shit is a thing in asia I guese. You can hate China but can love their epic bullshit

Yeah like it's the same people buying the same shit twice. In reality this shit dropped by half in sales due to that shit ending.

It wasn't always this big, it got a massive boost after a special episode of a talk show (I think it was ameta-lk) aired about it in 2015. To be fair though, the anime was a shitshow.

What can ya do, everyone and their mothers have the One Piece backlog already.

Oh come on. This week I guess.

For the worldwide and national sensation, yes.

Stockholm syndrome. Those that were dumb enough to buy the previous volumes need to buy this one as well, or they'd have to admit it was a mistake on their part. Sad.

Attached: 1575572388048.jpg (512x561, 172.45K)

That's not Stockholm syndrome that's the sunk cost fallacy.

kys vigin order loser, never insult jack with this awful loli shit character, even real TM fans never liked her except secondaries like you

One piece only got 1.5 mil in FOUR weeks? Holy shit that's actually abysmally bad.

Not really a worldwide sensation. It's only relevant in the west where a huge percentage of the fans consume the series through the anime and never actually buy the books. Pretty much a given that it wouldn't show up here.

That's why you should only buy a manga after it's finished. I just don't get it why the madman doesn't try to milk the franchise even more. There's obviously a demand for it there.

Because he was burned out.
Weekly serializations are hell and he can get a ton of money even if he doesn't write.

That's pretty much what is was selling in like 2008

How are fillerfags cucks when they buy it for the girls, not for Negi?

>made every girl a cuck by making a psuedo harem where they don't fuck F but keep orbiting him
>treated like garbage through the final arc
>YES NEGI-SAMA I'LL KEEP BUYING YOUR VOLUMES
At least Yotsuba is guaranteed to have fucked him.

kimetsu sales aren't from the last volume, they are from backlog
and it wasn't released 3 months ago

KnY vol 8 was realsed in october 4, 2017.

>kimetsu sales aren't from the last volume
Explain why it's charting then
>#16 Kimetsu no Yaiba 19 - 61,517/2,602,775
And it was released the first week of February, basically 3 months ago.
You retarded decuck.

hey man, why so agressive :(

How does that make them cucks? They bought it for the girls, not for the story. They didn't lose anything besides five bucks and they got what they wanted which was cute girls.

Remider that toubuntards literally mentality ill people who buy multiple copies for the sake of their 2D waifu.

So, in toubun case
more sales ≠ larger audience

Attached: 1574003245406.jpg (1500x1125, 502.53K)

Seriously how did quint get so popular? No harem manga I can remember sold this much. Not even To love Ryu and Hayate the combat butler in their pick.

There's a schizo shitposter that people like to bait into sperging, then get mad because he sperged and shat the thread. You just got caught in the crossfire.

why wouldn't it be charting?
i really don't understand where you are getting at

They targeting obsessive otaku segment and autism seeKaguya audience more into normalfag and office ladies, while toubun is more into male teenager and hardcore otaku

Keep going user, keep going. It will become a thing, you will make Kaguyafags and Tobunfags fight over sales I'm sure.
You aren't losing your time, what you do is really important. Here's your (you)

Very happy for Shuumatsu

It's kind of a surprise. It is a long running giant, but it was easily the only series the past years that went beyond 2 million with a new volume. Somehow Kimetsu's rise coincidentally made people care less about OP or dunno, but it's struggling to reach that 2 million nowadays within even 3 months.

It wasn't really coincidental with Kimetsu's rise, it's something that has been going for a while. The 2011 peak was too big to be sustained, it was inevitable that the sales would start going down which is what has happened throughout the years. It just wasn't as evident because no one, except AoT for a short while, could actually beat it regardless.

(also, a portion of the sales most likely moved to digital like for every series considering it's very much a growing market, we don't have numbers though)

Attached: op.png (2402x1407, 80.36K)

Understandable, althought it feels weird how noticable it became I would say the past 1.5 years. It's like people keptup with it, then a big portion suddenly started to disappear and care less.

have one piece sales been so low lately?
i remmber it being around 4M a couple of years ago (or does it count global sales and not only jap?)

OP's downfall is a combination of many factors. One of them is Oda's inflammatory comments towards WW2 veterans, another is his assaulting of a reporter who brought up KnY during an interview. The actual decline in OP's content of course plays a part, but it's slow to actualize as lost sales due to the sunk-cost fallacy and denial.

What? Source please!?

I heard he also murdered an up and coming mangaka for being heavily inspired by One Piece

Attached: 1574744279799.jpg (1870x1075, 839.67K)

pretty based of Oda

Nah that was his uncle, Oda Nobunaga who did that. Nobunaga is a taxi driver who went insane and received no help to his problems so he shaved his head and tried to "clean up" Tokyo.

Thanks!

It was around this time that OP volumes started to receive tons of 1-star reviews online, showing that the public had turned on it. Oda thought he was untouchable but turns out he wasn't.

If I remember correctly, it started dropping fairly consistently past 2015, with 2018 being the big leap down. I'll use the best selling volumes of the year for comparison

One Piece 73 - 3,010,801 (february-november 2014)
One Piece 76 - 3,185,018 (december-november 2015)
One Piece 80 - 2,981,494 (december-november 2016)
One Piece 84 - 2,730,184 (february-november 2017)
One Piece 88 - 2,476,305 (march-november 2018)
One Piece 91 - 2,388,243 (december-november 2019)

Obviously you'd have to imagine this being a bit more gradual because over recent years digital has become a more important part of the industry (and hopefully we'll start getting actual numbers on those soon), but honestly, even though they are obviously decreasing, OP's sales are still crazy. It's not like it pulled a bleach or whatever, those sales are still great, and if it wasn't for KnY's absurd explosion, it would still be on top. And I don't really see the shame a lot of other fans see in being #2, I think it was about time some new blood managed to take it down after so long, no one reigns forever after all.

>another is his assaulting of a reporter who brought up KnY during an interview
Sounds like straight up BS considering Oda almost never even shows himself

He grabbed the person by the shirt and started shaking him, yelling "KING IN THE CASTLE, KING IN THE CASTLE" before letting go and slumping down sobbing. Oda's not feeling very good these days mentally or physically.

I thought wci was pretty beloved and the reverie was basically the most discussed manga moment of the last years, probably took a blow with the whole punk hazard and dressrosa parts

It's all very hush-hush, sorry.

Okay, lol.

That was a mistranslation of the report. He actually yelled "MY TREASURE? ITS YOURS IF YOU CAN FIND IT. I LEFT EVERYTHING I OWNED IN ONE PIECE"

Just like he tells his editor every week when asked for a manuscript

Attached: gold-roger.png (1034x709, 1.09M)

Obviously, these numbers are still great, but it's still have a kind of nowhere decrease effect. There is the gradual one, then a big drop starting. It was more cringeworthy to me that OPfaggots couldn't accept Kimetsu's success and always spammed Ufotable this and that, when now new Kimetsu volumes sell better. Without anime, Bleach wasn't that bad, still was above 400k, but it obviously couldn't keep up with newer stuff, when after Fullbring most of the readers thought the manga was over and didn't give a shit about Bach and co. IIRC only 2-3 chapters ranked in Top 5 during the final arc.

knyfags are specially mad in this thread, is it because their manga is ending?

I can't be the only one to fully expect OP to get back to 3mil at some point right? Like when we finally get a Dragon arc or Shanks arc or whatever the catalyst is to get people excited like Marineford

Are you ok user? People are just saying OP is objectively declining.

Why is Nino's manga winning so much? It's not fair bros!

Oda badmouthing WW2 war veteran is true. Yaraon and Futaba also shitted on Oda.

It was all, marineford, strong world and the timeskip.
OP just has too many volumes to catch up now.

it's kind of normal to have decreasing sales over 15 volumes (still 700k is a big dip) specially with a long series , since they will recover less people from the loss because of how many people are not willing to buy 90 volumes.
But I heard they made the first 60 volumes free to read during the quarantine, it will be interesting to see the sales of volumes 61-65 after the quarantine ends.

Maybe it'll sell more digitally. People might not want 100 volumes on their shelves.

That said my understanding is that newer series benefit more from digital as people want to "complete" their collection

Kimetsu is just such a weird case. I mean I thought it was "just" the anime as well last year when its volumes individually still sold great but were more in the MHA ballpark, but the growth just seems to have literally no limit. I don't remember ever seeing anything like this, the most similar case was AoT with the backlogs taking over the top50 for a while but even that ran out after a bit.

yeah that's all they are doing if you ignore the bait and the shitposting

I think it's safe to say that Kimetsu's record will stand for eternity, mainly because no other promising manga will wait for a good adaptation when 15 volumes are already out plus digital becoming the trend. You need a good amount of backlog + something that just clicks with the audience. OP can be beaten easily in the first half of the year as Titan and Taizai showed, but then they ran out of backlog. Also the adaptation needs to start either Winter or Spring, just for the sales to accumulate enough. COVID-19 may help Jujutsu Kaisen in this regard. since by the time it will air, maybe even 15 volumes will be out. With the decreasing OP, something above 600-700k per volume would be enough to defeat OP again. But MAPPA needs to open the sakugaworks for it.

>Nino's
*Micute's.

Holy shit you're an idiot. I'm so glad that shit manga is over and done with so we won't have retards like you clogging up the threads anymore.

What exactly caused a butthurt with you?

>I think it's safe to say that Kimetsu's record will stand for eternity
no

Well, I'm not quite willing to say it'll stand for eternity because I thought the same for OP's at the time and I think everyone else did, but it ended up lasting for "only" a decade. So maybe something even crazier will come and break it, who knows.

twitter.com/ribon60th/status/1256059334309511170
Kimetsu no Yaiba's new collaboration with a famous girl manga magazine.
Manga for girls and old women sells so well.
Hey you boys should buy more manga.

But what about One Piece record in total sales? will there ever be another long running manga that stays popular for 20 years
i can imagine a new manga being a big hit and taking kimetsu's record but i can't imagine One Piece will be dethroned any time soon

Attached: EJljm0GWkAAB-CL.jpg (1136x564, 88.34K)

Wow, I never follow these threads but it's nice to see Shuumatsu doing well.

Attached: 73986980_p7.jpg (1200x835, 317.5K)

Nah, I don't think a new long running manga will ever be as popular as OP is and for such a long period of time, especially not with declining birth rates compared to 20 years ago.

The Japanese people tend to have shit taste. The content creators of Japanese stuff usually have better taste/style than the population they cater to.

Boku no hero will obviously take its place. It's already the best shounen airing and the most popular amidst normalfags

Why Kimetsufag always want mhafag and opfag to fight each other.

Because neither of you will surpase kimetsu so I prefer to keep you fighting so you don't bother us in our threads

>why ___fag
You've already lost to shitposters. They do not care about series, just shitposting.

Unfortunately the fact is knyfag love irritating opfags and herofags and say they seething no matter what their responses are

OP with 54 volumes got beaten with 19 Kimetsu volumes not even in half a year. 3 volumes left, automatically 6-7.5 million to the list and it will be close to 50 million. I just don't see anything coming close to that in 5-10 years, when digital will be more of a trend and some magazines could also go online instead of printing. Then again, who knows if I will still follow anything in 10 years.

So KNY is truly a series targeting at girls.

>One Piece 96 - 51,942/1,594,700
>One Piece - 133,192
interesting, more than 80,000 backlog
and it seems to be for several volumes since if any of the volumes sold more than 18,000 it would have been on the chart
I wonder what caused this tiny surge for the backlog, even though the latest volume is selling worse than ever

same as one piece. remember shojo big mom

One Piece total sales won't ever be dethroned. In the new generation of mangakas, you don't have to aim that far with your story to become successful, so I doubt any aspiring mangaka has the dream to reach 1000 chapters and beyond with their work. One Piece will be a one time experience, Ippo and Conan is the same. Then there was Kochikame. The era of long-long running is over. Now you are safe with 200-400 chapters.

One Piece is a lucky case where a mangaka who's good at spinning a long story yarn managed to survive long enough to actually flex those storytelling muscles within the constraints of Jump's cutthroat serialization practice. I'd imagine if the digital shift away from printed magazines keeps happening, maybe Jump will become more lenient when it comes to what gets published and more authors can risk building up a story that's initially a slow burn, as long as it stays profitable, since there's no competition for open magazine slots. Spy x Family for instance has been a nice little success so far, running alongside the regular magazine series on Manga+, which might never have happened if it had been subjected to the regular magazine run on a weekly schedule. Even KnY, the current sales poster child kinda lucked out, to have survived its early wonky sales days with no stronger competition available at the time. Imagine if it had gotten axed because, say, there had been 1 or 2 stronger contenders back in the day, so it would have been kicked out of the magazine, in other words, axed, then none of the magic awakening now would have happened, just because limited magazine space.

tl;dr with the advent of digital publishing, more series may have the chance to build up to long running successes.

>mainly because no other promising manga will wait for a good adaptation when 15 volumes are already out
Wasn’t it selling at like 100k a volume before the anime? It doesn’t seem like there was any indication before the anime that this series was going to explode the way it did.

>knyfag love irritating opfags and herofags and say they seething no matter what their responses are
I would too, because they're faggots.
They're treating the sales numbers like reddit karma to soothe their own insecurities about investing their time into a declining property.
Modern One Piece is shit and has been bad for almost a decade. MHA coasts on superficial details like character designs and superheroes. Claiming to like these IP for shit reasons makes you an inch dick incel

most authors have enough dignity to let their manga end before milking it dry, let alone zombify it like One Piece

>zombify it like One Piece
Imagine just making shit up about series you don't read

Attached: Laughing Roger.png (860x1080, 694.9K)

I don’t think there are many mangaka that have the stamina to do what Oda does for so long while staying so consistently popular. I can’t imagine we’ll see another one like him for a while.

but noone cares more about sales than knyfags

What was the sales record when The Reverie arc started?

imagine making up new shit in the manga you write for 20 years

You must be retarded if you think ALL of the SE sales are people who also bought the original release.

Imagine not loving party-animal cyborg brachiosaurus-man who produces biological weapons

Attached: Funky.gif (611x681, 370.03K)

Yeah they do, mostly due to ancient chinese historical dramas. There are a few that were crazy popular.

>but noone cares more about sales than knyfags
For completely different reasons to OPfags and MHAfags

You gotta understand, Pissbabies are worried their favorite Saturday morning cartoon might get cancelled

You have to understand knyfags and ophaters need the sales to feel superior. They don't care about manga too much actually.

They only thing they want is to see some shit come crush the tops.

When it started getting the boosts, low ones like 10-12k, it was around 280-330k. My point was that by the time it aired, 15 volumes were practically out. For HeroAca it was 7 volumes. If it weren't for COVID-19, Jujutsu would be inbetween with like 11-12 volumes.

About 380 million in purely Japan. Total around the world would be 450 million.

>pity win
he only won because herc was nice and didn't killed him

Yeah sure. Tell that to the dekufag who infests oricon thread with his
>liars
and
>knyfujos
I think he seriously lives only for that.

How did you get to this conclusion based on what I have written? If you can't interpreted it properly, stay silent.

Which series that have been using it sale to dismiss any criticism about it for the last decade?

Kimestu is only popular because of the pretty colors that ufo table provided. If it wasn’t for that, this series would be more exposed for the generic predictable story that it is.

>You have to understand knyfags need the sales to feel superior.
I don't need sales when I have the anime

Corona-chan.

Attached: IMG_20200325_132904.jpg (400x400, 39.21K)

You have to understand, pissfags need the sales to feel superior. They never read other manga actually.

It was kind of a comfy thread for a while, then the shitposters woke up I guess.

How far One Piece has fallen
We used to claim moral superiority during Enies Lobby when Naruto and Bleach were dogshit and getting all the attention in burgerville

Thanks Yotsucute

One day...

>oricon
>ever being a comfy thread
lol, the third post was already serieswarbait

There there, it's alright. A few years from now, so around the time a new HxH chapter hits, OP will still be running while KnY will be a statistic number in a spreadsheet.

It's like Avatar vs MCU all over again. Toubun may have more initial sales but it's a flash in the pan while Kaguya has a more successful franchise and will also be remembered fondly in the long run.

the tons of 1-star reviews weren't because of the comment
they were because many of the doublespreads had too much detail obscured by the crease in the center

these things never happen
Naruto didn't get a boost because of the 4th great ninja war and the reveal of Madara
Bleach didn't get a boost when the thousand years blood war started
in fact, both were still in decline
the boost only happened with the LAST VOLUME (not last arc), persumably by people who dropped it and waiting for it to end to read it in one go, and the boost still didn't sustain itself for long

Wasn't there some sort of 'drama', where Oda joked about a historical figure and he had to apologize?

Wasn't OP's success in 2011 also thanks to Strong world movie and the anime entered Marin ford?

wait till volume 13 release

Love seeing Fairy Tail in Space do bad

Maybe you don't know or don't remember but OP also got a insane boost because of Stong world and the anime entered Marin ford and be honest with me OP's just as predictable as Kimetsu. Luffy gets to an island, beat up the bad guy, save the princess, party and repeat. You can hate a series all you want but atleast don't pretend things you like a perfect.

At this volume count, who in their right mind would still buy printed volumes for One Piece, at least if you're starting fresh? We're nearing the 100 mark. That some fucking huge shelf space to catch dust and that's coming from someone who enjoys the look and feel of printed manga. In this case though, digital all the way.

that happened
but Oda didn't apologize, his editor did
and it's not the cause of the 1-star scores for the newer volumes
if you read the reviews, you'll see most of the complaints are about the story or technical issues.

What's your point? Why do you need to compare two different series

I feel pity. EZ is, so far, an all around better effort that FT ever was, be it art, characters or story, yet its reception is worse.

Weekly "romcoms" (more like really shitty tone deaf dramas).

So MCU is Kaguya since it's being milked endlessly by Aka?
>successful
>remembered more fondly
The declining sales sure does show that lmao

I feel you bro. BC is a good manga despite the terrible beginning and the awful anime, yet it gets shat on every week

I don't remember anything funny from 5toubun

And Kaguya hasn't been funny in months, so, same genre.

>EZ is, so far, an all around better effort that FT ever was
Please it's the same shit with a different coat of paint.

Because that user is retarded
Sure bro, whatever you say

black clover is shit my dude and that's reason people crap on it just like MHA

You are embarrassing

>shit BD sales

Kaguya should axe its self in shame
What a shitty franchise beloved by redditors

I hope it gets animated by A-1 pictures to seal the deal.

Remembered checking out some reddit comments after 10 chapters and a dedicated poster counted how many times 'friend' appeared. It was around 60, so at least 6 'friends' per chapter.

At least EZ is still alive. How's forced retirement, MS?

What do you think about these people?

Attached: 63634534534.png (309x178, 16.76K)

I don't.

There are people who think MHA is good so...

Yes
But then they wound up translating the FT sequel anyway

Those who claim that EZ > FT with characters as well often forget that according to my subjective opinion, FT was stomachable or not bad till Tenrou Island, so 200 chapters. The bullshit plot armored battles strated mostly with Tenrou, even if Acnologia brought some hype. After EZ had 200 chapters and people still follow it and preach it how it's so much better than FT, they can talk.

Not as much as tryhard shitposter retard like you.

And then they picked up Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest, so they probably just weren't getting enough hits with Edens Zero to make enough money that it was worth their time, but didn't want to admit it.

That poster has long since disappeared. The count was also inflated by Jaiminisbox shoehorning in the word friend even when it wasn't really the best translation.

And? They couldn't keep up with either the official translations, or other fan translations, so they gave up. Probably because it wasn't making them enough money either.

Wait then how are people reading Edens Zero then?

I remember it being funny before current arc. Don't remember anything funny in 5toubun

>There are people who think MHA is good so
Jesus christ. How horrifying.

SEETHING

Niggerstream and JB weren't the only ones translating the series, and the official translations are easily available as well.

Is Edens Zero the new punching bag?

>people

shouldn't you be desensitized to this shit if you regularly read shounen

Attached: 1577837930738.jpg (600x992, 71.95K)

Why would anyone want their favourite manga to continue to go after main goal of a story was achieved?

This is pretty good, source?

It’s not MS fault, they were betrayed

Never had a problem with friendship being brought up in anime and manga until I read FT. Mashima uses it to an excessive degree.

It has official translations by Kodansha and group Sorcerer weekly scanlates it and FT 100YQ

Official translations
Found on reddit(with links to official)
ReadEdenZero. Com
Sorcerer weekly(if the bandwidth doesn’t have a stroke)
Many such places

The FT shitshow already started with the Jellal resurrection. The ridicule never stopped from there on.

>Edens Zero, #50 last week
>Edens Zero, #50 this week

So now that it's clear that the next volume won't even chart on Oricon, what the fuck went so badly wrong?

>what the fuck went so badly wrong?
People realised it was Fairy Tail in space

>#31 Jojolion 23 - 49,985/96,388
Does anybody here know (roughly) how the other Ultra Jump series sell?

>Shuumatsu no Valkyrie has the #1 volume and #6 sales by series
ty based Jack

but it is good

Where is the total weekly sales?

Nanatsu no Taizai sequel due to how S3 destroyed the franchise.

Lucy has D4C but only if she sleeps

If Drakken Joe goes out in memorable fashion then Ez might have the advantage.

Yes, yes, well done, Kimetsu, well done, HOWEVER....

Attached: King of Shonen.png (3294x1902, 1.41M)

This makes no sense
Why is Saitama even in there when he's from a Seinen?

More like she will pull a Pucci we will get Cowboy Shikki.

It's a delusional meme made by a butthurt MHAfag

You'd think, but some people are apparently unusually butt hurt by it. Which is kind of odd because people used it to meme on Fairy tail more than Mashima actually used it in the series. Then again the people complaining about it also often seem to be the same sort of people who just page through the series without reading anything while looking for tits to fap to; then complain that nothing that's going on makes sense.

this basically

you are jealous your series doesn't have a cool edit

Even better way to put it

should have used this one for tanjiro

Would it kill you to use a picture of Deku where he doesn't look like an insecure faggot?

Still sold better than FT and EZ

Jojolion is the best seller in ultra jump (although this volume is doing pretty poorly compared to 22, IIRC)

wasn't it above bnha in series sales last week or is corona fucking up my sense of time this badly

It was once a million seller, it was always big, the live action movie was the best grossing Japanese movie last year.

is this true? can anyone give me the source or full interview?

Attached: 1586669045820.jpg (571x900, 358.86K)

It's not even the latest version and it still was outdated. The author said he wanted to wait for the next big change, so I guess he'll have what he wants soon.

Not at all, if you look at the biggest sellers of the year 2013 or 2014 for example you'll notice there are no kingdom volumes even in the top 100. It got a big boost in 2015 after that special talk show episode.

Also mentioning the live action last year when I said it wasn't that big prior to 2015 isn't a good way to disprove what I said.

Kimetsu will end soon and be forgotten like the garbage it is

Well, we never did see a body or did we? That's a usual trope. Jellal was comatose, Wendy healed him.

Time reset helping the good guys. Re:Zero made it a trend or people only cared about Rem, but usually it's a cheap resolution. Kira Yoshikage wins.

Advantage? EZ still have to do 100 chapters after that.

>Which series that have been using it sale to dismiss any criticism about it for the last decade?

Naruto? Bleach? Hunter x Hunter? One Piece?

take a wild guess, retard

>#1 Shuumatsu no valkyrie 6

I absolutely adore One Piece, Kimetsu no Yaiba and Chainsawman, among other series and don't give a shit about sales. I hate what's happened to Zig Forums, where we have fags who response to and ironically encourage salesfags to enter their threads, while acting like shitposters don't samefag and self-bump their garbage to stir up shit regardless.

If you seriously think there are knyfags/opfags/bcfags/mhafags/hxhfags/etc.fags that care only about sales and it isn't just a single attention-starved, band-evading, autist shitposting for notoriety, then you're not only worse than them, you seriously need to get the fuck off off Zig Forums, since clearly you're too young/stupid to be posting here that you can't recognize.

How much closer is One Piece to beating Batman or Superman in worldwide sales?

I bet you post actively in DB threads

holy cope
