Question for Degiro user. There was the Option between Basic and Custody account. I took the Basic one because it has cheaper transaction costs and what not. But now i am thinking, if i want to invest long term, shouldnt i have gone with custody account? In basic accounts Degiro can borrow your stocks and give you some garbage as compensation. Custody doesnt do that. Did i fuck up if i wanted to go for long term (around 5 years)?
