This egg is the cutest thing, and I want her to be happy with her nihilistic depression shroom gf. Why are the idiot characters so endearing? I think it's because I like how carefree they are, but maybe it's cause I'm a dumbass too and it's supposed to be relatable. I know Mankanshoku was just as endearing to me for the similar reasons.

also what do you think the head ornaments represent? possibly quirks or coping mechanisms for anxiety/trauma? in the chapter where shime-jime go ask everyone about their objects, a lot of students were saying it just made them feel better/at ease.
