I'm going to be completely honest with you
I saw ep 19 and thought "huh das cool i might check it out"
but what REALLY made me watch it was Inosuke. I saw some gifs of him and thought "what the fuck is this cute buff..monster? minotaur?". It was that one gif where he's looking at Giyuu all sparkly . And so i watched the series.
The previous marketing didn't appeal to me much but I watched and read it because of the fucking Boar.
My fav became zenitsu though

I watched the anime to see all the hype about it on Crunchyroll but the app was acting up so I just read it and wouldn't stop reading it. Inosuke kept my attention too then Kanao and Tanjiro. Was hoping it'd get more development in future arcs but oh well. At least fanart exists.

I know that the normalfag answer, but beyond the animation, Rui's design is actually what caught my interest the most.
Then in general I came to like the designs of a lot of the demons later one once picking up the manga.
