How? There were no hints at all and her "death" was played completely believable, sad and yet still satisfying.

Part of it was just gut feeling, the other because I didn't think she would die without anybody finding out that she died. Also I reckoned she will have a significant role to play against all the other ninjas

In any case the series is about immortality so I don't think it's really worth getting so upset about characters not dying. It's like getting upset that Dragon Ball has a magic wish-granting dragon
