What is that one anime/manga that you used to love as a young rookie but instead of getting nostalgic after growing up you develop a disdain for it? For me it's One Piece.

You probably dislike it, because half the straw hats if not more are full blown retards. Then of course there are overdone gags.
Imagine watching the anime and having to put up with the laughs that don't happen in any other anime.

none I'm not a traitorfaggot

Oda should be ashamed. Copy pasting the same arc again and again and again, while dragging it on.

I watched Naruto & One Piece when I was young at the same time. Grew to hate One Piece but still have fond memories of Naruto. I think it's because main Naruto series ended while One Piece is still being milked.

Yeah i'm really sick of all those save the kingdom arcs
Oh wait it's literally just two (Alabasta and Dressrosa

You have shit taste that's why you still like Nardo over Chad Piece

Pokemon. As a kid, I use to be excited on saturday mornings to watch the newest johto episodes.
I tried rewatching all 1000+ episodes recently and was bored out of my fucking mind.

I did not plan to make a One Piece hate thread. It's just that i don't find it intriguing like i used to feel about it.
This is true i think the show doesn't feel like it's growing it's more like festering in the same spot.
desu i have never watched shippuden but I still get nostalgic about ninja examination arc even though i can say it is not objectively good.
why would you rewatch 1000 episodes of advertisement? First season is watchable since all the tropes and plotlines are not repeated and copypasted.

One Piece is one of mine, along with Berserk.

In both instances the author got in over their head I feel. Too many things to name - they're just not the same as they once were.

Wan piss is so fucking bullshit, good for you user!

For me it's K-On!

Read my comment again. I liked it when I was a kid and have good memories of it. But nothing is more pathetic than being a grown man and still liking One Shit.

Probably Akame ga Kill or Mirai Nikki

None of them are retards.

Don't worry, you'll start appreciating it again once you grow up some more and become more worldly though I since you frequent this board, that's very unlikely.

Only three arcs follow the same formula and evfen then it's just a formula, and it's own formula. They all have unique characters and stories and themes. Saying One Piece arcs are the same is like saying every sherlock holmes story or any detective story is the same, or every horror movie is the same, and One Piece changes it's oown formula wuite a bit any many arcs as well, and the one's that are similar(Dressrosa,Alabasta) are intentionally parallels.

>pissfags can't handle an user stating his opinion
classic

>watching the anime

Cringe

You appreciate One Piece more as you read more manga and stories from a variety of genres. That's why millions of adults read it, they aren't pathetic edgefags and midwit tweens just out of their shounen phase and can appreciate a great odyssey without being insecure about it.

I'm just stating my own opinion, I felt the same way at some point being and when I was an animeonly.

you're projecting your opinion as fact, telling the other user that he WILL like it when he grows up
for all I know, he's probably older than you, at least mentally

To me it's because Naruto is more slow paced and explains the characters better. It knows how to create build up.

One Piece has a ton of irrelevant characters that are used once per arc and you don't see them again. All the build up it has is to get Luffy to punch the arc villain and move on to a different one.

>being this assblasted about a disagreeing opinion
Boy, antiopfags sure have 0 self awareness

I doubt it, most people that feel this way fall out on one piece because of the anime and go on to barely scratch the surface of the rest of anime, they start reading stuff like berserk and vagabond and thinking they've grown of shounen, after a while of exploring other genres they cycle back around, it's a common phenomenon. Of course, if the shounen they grew up with had a really bad ending like bleach, they might forever become bitter against them and hate shounen forever, that describes a lot of people on Zig Forums really.

Does this board have anything to do with why ou feel this way? Take a break from all One Piece discussion and drop the series, come back to the series after a years and see if you still feel the same way.

I have to add that I am being kind of facetious with this comment, being older doesn't mean you'll start appreciating One Piece.

Nice Cope, but if naruto was still decent, you'd still be reading it.

I grew out of Berserk because of Berserk. After the golden arc I simply didn't like the direction that manga was taking.

I can accept anything Naruto and One Piece throw at me, that's just manga for kids, but Berserk had a serious more adult tone if you don't make it good I won't bother with it.

why are you insisting that his only experience was through the anime?
why can't you just accept that some people don't hold the same feelings toward this manga?

>pissfags so out of touch they don't know Naruto ended 6 years ago

That's my point, if it was good during the war arc, and if it had a decent sequel, you'd still be reading it.

Boruto? It's pretty decent.

Miura just grew out of his edgephase, a lot of audience didn't, same happened with vinland saga, though of course you don't have to like the direction the manga took but a lot of the complaints about berserk are just people mad that it's not edgy anymore.
