It isn't that bad at all really, it's the complete opposite of Western female empowerment propaganda. Instead of having the woman be strong and competent for no reason other than that she's female, the woman is shown as being clearly weaker than the men, but is determined to overcome her weaknesses by just being dedicated and working hard. She's successful and well liked because of her work ethic, not because of her vagina, and the show even chucks in a bunch of lazy and useless women sitting around relying on a man as contrast to the main character.
It is basically the exact same theme as Haikyuu's "guy playing volleyball is short but won't let that hold him back" gag. It's not like Haikyuu is midget propaganda.

What's wrong is you deliberately misinterpreting what that user said by ignoring the "for no reason" clause, as well as the fact that the show is set in a realistic historical place rather than a fantasy world with super powers.
I like it because Arte is a dork, but that's just me.

Not the point of that interaction and she goes straight back and apologises to him for it. The theme is that if you want to be a stronk inderpendent wyman you have to be prepared to put in the work to stand on your own like a man would, instead of relying on the fact that you have tits.
The part about giving up relationship for career makes sense in context, she was running away from an arranged marriage that was supposed to secure a dependent lifestyle where she didn't need to work.
I think that was an episodic gag used to establish that work and career should be her focus and we're already past it, but we'll see.
