desu i can't see chad in him at all,sure he looks like a popular twink, but he just constantly have that pissed grin on his face. like he was never drawn with any other emotions other than grinning. if kubo just added a backstory or something to justify why he never laughs or stuff it would be somewhat understandable. but he just feels like a unsociable douche to me. constantly annoyed at turbo tits; that's his whole gimmick.

Being able to materialize a zanpakuto was always a condition for achieving bankai. Renji did it as well and Ichigo used Urahara's method by forcibly materializing zanpakuto, though in the end I have no idea if his bankai was real or fake. Anyways, it's normal for shinigami to be able to materialize their zanpakuto in humanoid form.

What the fuck are you even talking about? Bleach is one of the rare shonen where even the fujos shipped straight ships. None of the yaoi ships like IchiIshi, RenIchi, or Ichijow really took off.
