14 is high school age. High schoolers are in fucked up BDSM-type not-quite-relationships that they don't fully understand all the damn time. If they were older, it would be less suited because it would strain credibility that they didn't understand what they were feeling about it all.

"Ao" originally meant both blue and green, the "blue" meaning is more common but not universal even in modern usage. "Azul" was still a perfectly reasonable translation before that image came out. Even with this image, there's no background but you can still see that the coloration is stylized. Look at the clear differentiation in the highlights too, Azul has blue cangiante shadows on white while Baizer instead has maroon on the same white, and the shadows on her hair are gold. It's definitely arguable that they should wait for an additional image for confirmation before changing the translation.

I agree, she is too eager to be properly entertaining and seeing this Utena wisely rejected her.

Is anyone else annoyed that we have ten major characters, or eleven if you count Venalita, in a dozen chapters? Does this manga know how to do anything besides just making the cast bigger and bigger? There ought to have been like a whole volume in between the first four characters and the other evil magical girls, and another one between them and these new girls. Every chapter is just "here's a new girl" and then the old ones are basically not developed at all.

I think the problem is perfection. You cant have character development when the girls are already perfect, you can only have character degredation.

We know almost nothing about the lives or backgrounds of any of the girls, they are only background characters except in their own chapters, of which they've pretty much had one each. Blue has two, making her the most developed character in the series.

since the focus is mostly on Utena and secondly on the trio there's no problem
