What were they THINKING?
What were they THINKING?
"mh, that Ilya guy has a lot of followers"
"mh, GitS fanboys really do have low standards, let's see how low we can go"
"mh, CG really is cheap to animate and all those other CG adaptations sure made a lot of money"
“mh, we’re gonna need a bigger boat.”
it's really not as bad as Zig Forums says
they saw people like
Everything Zig Forums says is always correct.
Don’t you understand?
I liked it. Full stop. That moment in that episode where that character did that thing was was kino. It was great to see beloved characters again. Honestly you get used to the animation pretty quick. The CGI didn't bother me at all. Once you get over the CG it's fine. It's just SAC with different visuals. It gets a lot better past episode 5 so you should really watch the whole thing before passing judgement. The first five seconds really aren't representative of the show as a whole. Shame about that concessive argument though, I gotta admit that was pretty bad in order to lend credence to my post. The 2D promo art is drop-dead gorgeous. The only thing wrong with the graphics was some of the textures. It was better than Berserk even if Berserk had on-model character designs. Better CG is really hard to make. Show me better CG if you can. I mean better CG that uses the same budget. I mean the same budget per episode. Let's be realistic there's no way they could have spent all that budget on fewer episodes and give it 2D animation. The major is so cute. I love new cute major, she's never been cute before. If you're mad about major being cute remember she was also cute in the manga. The character design was pretty much the same really. The writing is easily on par with SAC. It's better than nothing. The only reason why you don't like it is because it's not 1:1 like SAC. It's just like SAC. I'm excited for season 2. I'm going to watch season 2.
YOU DON'T LIKE IT BECAUSE YOU'RE CONTRARIANS
YOU DON'T LIKE IT BECAUSE YOU'RE SHEEPS
I’ve heard that there was a story about Ilya and plagiarism. Tell me more about it.
imo the plot was interesting enough to make up for the stiff animations.
The art was actually good for what it was, too.
What a shitload of fuck.
like fucking clockwork
not much to it, a few years ago he was known as Kr0nprinz and sold plagiarized artwork as original artwork. Then he tried to rebrand himself.
Regardless, he's a bad artist, he makes constant perspective errors (there's even some on the promo posters) and can't do more than 1 female face and not even an expressive or adequate one
Yes. If you bring up an anime, there will be people who like it and want to give their opinion
Yes but why do they systematically have to express their appreciation through pathetically weak, extremely repetitive and disingenuous-sounding arguments in favor of the show, instead of simply saying that they liked it in spite of how awful it was?
I wonder.
>the art was actually good for bad art, too
GO TO GULAG, ILYA
DO NOT COLLECT 50 RUBLES
How about people stop making "pathetically weak, extremely repetitive and disingenuous-sounding" threads then.
If you want better responses. make better threads with better prompts
full CGI in anime is a cultural genocide.
that sounds kinda wimpy but it's true
that was a non-sequitur if I ever saw one
user, one of those is clearly facetious.
Let's start a Japanese petition to convince Production I.G. to make future GiTS in 2D.
yes, and the second one is clearly a lie.
A conversation involves two people.
If someone makes a thread "dae hate gits????" you expect responses to be some sort of well throughout essay?
Or maybe you're just autistic or you just use non-sequitur as a cop-out when you have nothing substantial to say
Better idea: let's break the Kyoani arsonist out of jail, strap a bunch of C4 and nails to him, and tell him that I.G. turned his waifu into a slut.
>you expect responses to be some sort of well throughout essay?
No, regardless of how well or badly "throughout" the OP is, if it's about this show, I systematically expect pathetically weak, extremely repetitive and disingenuous-sounding arguments in favor of the show. Which is precisely why I said "like fucking clockwork".
I was not disappointed at all.
also
nothing substantial >>>>> outright lies
Well drawing 1 face is a start. Leiji can draw like 3 faces and he's amoungst the most famous artist in Japan.
So if Ilya steps it up who knows how it'll go.
>out of jail
You mean hospital? He hasn't even been arrested yet.
You don't talk to people much huh?
I mean in real life.
Who hurt you?
Started watching SAC. Does it get better or worse? those little roller-skating crab bots are annoying.
more like LAZY Matsumoto
>He hasn't even been arrested
Oh so there IS some justice in this world after all.
they're here to stay, lad
I GOT USED TO IT
THE PLOT MAKES UP FOR IT
IT'S HONESTLY G O O D FOR WHAT IT IS
Yeah. When you learn to socialize, you'll realize how unreasonable your stance is.
You'd probably also be less caught up on people's anime preferences.
Is it allowed to backflip while being nude in public?
Stop-motion GiTS when?
You must be fun at parties...
I FUCKING WISH
stop-motion has SOUL
I'll take a fucking shadow play over this
Pretty dope, togusa went for a ride at the end there.
Alright, to be entirely fair to this dogshit series, a global default like the one in the series is basically what we almost had happen in 2008. If banks entered into technical default from toxic MBS holdings, all cash in checking/savings accounts, atms, and payroll would've essentially been halted to due to bankruptcy proceedings. Literally anybody without cash under their mattress or buried somewhere would not get paid or be able to use a credit or withdraw from their account.
Of course, at that point government would step in and probably pass an emergency measure bill, and in real life the TARP program prevented this from happening (and McCain and Obama played nice during the election year and didn't politicize it too much as the crisis was unfolding). That's where the dogshit part of the series comes in. Why the fuck do random humans have super-computing powers? This series actually expects us to believe you can download a better CPU and that these post-humans somehow convinced or blocked world governments from passing basic emergency legislation. Actually retarded, would have made much more sense if a group found a financial stake to bribe world leaders, at least that would make more sense than this shit
>I liked it. Full stop. That moment in that episode where that character did that thing was was kino.
I love batou
