Every girl kind of had at least one arc for introduction and solving the shallow supernatural issue, and one for the proper development, and Sodachi is no exception. Owari 1 is her bake arc, and the next arc to be adapted (Oroka) is her proper development arc.

Actively (so no characters who simply appeared too late in the anime, like Sodachi or Rouka) worst girl is probably Izuko. When Meme left the scene, I thought this would have been a good opportunity for Araragi to learn to stand on his own. But we simply got a replacement of Meme who has even less personality and feels even more of a plot device.

She is mentally ill with terrible life circumstances. She was smart enough to realize her hatred at someone who couldn't realistically help her in the past was misplaced, but she didn't let go of her anger because how else could she make sense of how horrible her family situation was? Once she could at least some kind of closure from the person she despised, that hatred stemming from her own inability to handle her circumstances, she forgave them near-immediately, instead of taking the much easier route of continuing to place blame on the person who she fixated her frustration on for years, and then she started recovering from her past trauma via her own volition, when reasonably anyone would have expected her to just sink further into depression and helplessness.
Sodachi is fucking incredible, dude. Just had way too little time to fully bring her personality outside of her mental illness to light. If you can't see this, get some taste.
