Kenshiro could beat 99% of stand users

Change my mind.

Sure, Kenshiro is a super powered Bruce Lee with deadly magical kung fu and most stand users are regular people without their ghosts

99% of stand users can be killed by a gun. That's not impressive

Before Jojofags start bitching, why is Kenshiro so powerful? What the fuck kind of training did he go through? Even Goku and Vegeta can still get fucked up or even die when their guard is down.

That wasn't a thing back then though. Most anime just assume that if you're strong, you can tank attacks even if you don't know what hit you, because your whole body is harder

Hokuto Shinken has been passed down for 2000 years. It cannot be understood by one such as you.

O-ok.

>Even Goku and Vegeta can still get fucked up or even die when their guard is down
Not by normal means.

Remember when he got shot by a laser ring by Freeza's henchman and put down?

Exactly why Jonathan doesn’t need a stand to be based

Clearly you didn't red or watch the kenshiro show. Ken usually gets his ass beat by most villains, before making a comeback and beating them. He is only godlike for mooks. It took him 108 episodes to heat Raoh.

>Supershit
Non canon

Kenshiro's journey is an odd one. He was physically capable of beating Raoh from the very beginning. Mentally he was nowhere near the right mindset to win.

>Normal means

I keep procrastinating watching shit. All I know so far is from clips he can get blasted walking towards a fucking tank at point blank or even have an entire skyscraper break on his head and act like nothing even happened.

I'd guessed 90% is being an even scarier Batman who kills in a lawless wasteland and the other 10% is enemies powerful enough to survive in a destroyed world and even fight against him, especially the main antagonist.

a laser gun is normal technology to most of the galaxy, freeza even gloats about how mundane the thing that brought goku down was.

my favorite anime can beat your favorite anime

Toriyama wrote BoG and RoF. He even chose for SSGSS to be blue to show Goku learned to contain and make his newfound power flow from him calmly.

Unless those caught off guard scenes contradicts previous canon moments, they have to be taken as confirmation.

Horse user can beat 99% of stand users

my dad is goku.

Who would bring a fucking horse to a fist fight?

Those bits you mentioned are most likely from the shitty filler episodes, and thus can be ignored. And HNK is an amazing show. It plays out more like a Greek tragedy, than a shonen. It features villains and heroes who have somewhat melodramatic, but still very strong and effective motivations. There are many manly tears, everyone can die at any moment, and because it is an older shonen, it ignores many of the annoying shonen clichés we have come to dislike.

This is not really true. Ken lets the evil villain gloat and pretend they have the advantage before he reveals that Hokuto Shinken is bullshit and he destroys them. The only times he is clearly at disadvantage is when he doesn't want to hurt his opponent because they have hostages, thinks they are Toki(Amiba), or Souther. In the first Raoh fight they were so evenly matched that the only reason they stopped was cause they and Toki agreed that both might die and the world would be worse off without the both of them.

He might be able to defeat some part 3 and 4 stand users but by the time 5-8 comes around he is fucked

You can't use a stand if you're already dead.

A based god

Ken highlights on Youtube are fun but the only thing you got wrong is the distribution. The anime has a lot of villains of the week but at the same time HnK has recurring villains that get built up like Shin in anime, Raoh, Juda, etc.

And yet he could never ever fully best Raoh. Their first fight was a draw. In their second fight he got close but the castle collapsed. In their third fight, Raoh intentionally nerfed himself and lost. Kenshiro never delivered a classic beatdown to Raoh in a fair and square fight.

Juza still best boy.

Never forget Juza calling Raoh a fag as his last words

You were good, son, real good. Maybe even the best.

I love how the anime expanded upon his death, and made his dead body get up and give Raoh another beating. Had the bothered to train for even a bit, he would have won.
