I dislike pretty much all megane character designs but Yomi I've always liked, don't know why

that hatch thing is supposed to be at back for easier toilet access.

In the redraw they changed it so she's wearing something sensible.

I'm not sure. In that period all girls in a manga would have the same body type, THICK girls are a relatively recent trend.

10th anniversary edition is mostly unchanged in script, but largely redrawn by Azuma. The difference in style is pretty big since he was already well into the publication of Yotsuba at the time, which also has changed considerably during the years.

Doesn't he have anything better to do? Like, if he was so bored he could have drawn HunterxHunter for Togashi or something.

Hmm, the reprint is technically better and more detailed but I think I still prefer the original. Probably because it's in the same style as the anime.
