MC really isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

I love how nips' idea of sword training is always brainlessly swinging a sword up and down for hours.

Just like how their idea of good metallurgy is to fold crappy steel 10.000 times in hopes of it becoming good.

To be perfectly honest - I clicked the manga only because of the twintailed blonde in thighhighs.

For the reference - million years is longer than homo sapiens has been on Earth. This is enough time for entire species to evolve from hairless monkeys that have just started to use fire into beings that know how to split atoms, explore space and share information across entire planet in milliseconds. Ignoring the fact that after million years he should either be utterly insane or reach some supreme enlightenment, not to mention him not even remembering his original world, if the MC comes out of the hyperbolic time chamber as the same kid, but better at swinging his sword, he will be the greatest disappointment of all time.

The idea behind this is retarded anyways, there is a limit to how strong he can humanly get and if the other guy has better technique he might still lose

How the hell is he supposed to develop technique if he's all alone, without an opponent or a teacher?

>if the other guy has better technique he might still lose
Especially if he's going to spend those million years alone. I don't think you can get much better at dueling without a sparring partner. Sure, he can train to deliver the sharpest, swiftest strikes humanly possible, but what about parrying, feints, following exchanges?

You'll just end up like those Chinese meme martial artists.

Just checked the chapter 2 in the raws and saw a couple spoilers of the novelseems like his slash can cut through dimensions or something like that, from what the guy who read the novel in japanese said, MC is basically the strongest character but the author keeps nerfing him snd even mde him lose to some people with the same age as him even though he kept ''training'' for millions of years.

You people might as well drop this, you're not going to like the answer. Though it's more complicated than that

If he's not Raiden with a molecular sword by the end of the training, I'll be greatly disappointed.
