The weirdest part is how the cgi moves fluid during fights but still looks like crap when not in motion. it doesnt help everyone either has different cgi gradients or arent cgi at all. Dorohedoro had much better use of their cg.

Well it's drawn by a guy with zero understanding of martial arts and body movement, and who's so insecure that he can't do humor without doing le comedy faces, so pretty much the opposite of Baki
The Kengan manga is better than the Baki manga, I can't compare anime. It's more tightly written, has better comedy, has more exciting artwork and action, and it actually has a real translation the whole way through. Plus, all the fights in the main tournament are actually good, which is more than I can say for the Maximum Tournament.
Kengan is just Baki, but much more aesthetic and not fucking ugly to look at.

I don't know how anyone can say this seriously when the creators of Kengan Asura actually act out their fights as they storyboard it, and the Baki author thinks that optic nerves go in the necks and that it takes .5 seconds for the brain to signal the muscles.

Should I just read the manga or watch the anime too? The CG looks really ugly but I would appreciate some nice voice acting and music.
