Of course it's a villain, but who comes up with this character arc?
It's such a cool concept; the main problem with this series are the filler chapters that act like nothing happened that are disjoint from the plot. Nami rapes Sora leaving him crying in chapter 8, then 6 chapters of unrelated filler almost that basically do not address their broken relationship, and then in chapter 15 is it addressed that Sora is dead afraid of Nami now, and they make amends.
This series is a magnificent read if all the filler chapters just be skipped.
