Because paying full price for one stock has always freaked me out. Oh I want a share of tesla? Fifteen hundred dollars?! Bruh.
Not to mention I was a teenager during the 2008 crisis. I watched people panic and "lose everything" overnight because numbers went red and and then people lost their jobs, etc etc. It was a real shit show. I've heard time and time again from people about how they lost tens of thousands of dollars on the stock market. But really its the having to pay full price for a whole stock that keeps me from even thinking about doing it.

np. nice trips too

but you dont pay full price for a stock w/ options.... you pay a fraction of the cost to have a have a leveraged position with more volatility aka more profit potential than trading the underlying stock

I dunno, but that pic is bad-freaking-ass

because my desire to get rich quick is overshadowed by my desire not to lose all my money betting on black.

If you think you're some sort of genius who's discovered a unique money-printing financial instrument with infinite upside and constrained downside, I have a bridge to sell you. And if you think you're a smartypants TA god or an insider with special information to beat the market, you're fucking retarded and just wrong.

I do, and have been for 6 years. Lost a lot of money for the first four years, but I'm up 3220% all time now.

It's pretty rad. You just gotta be willing to stick to it and learn.

I've seen it, and just like, Looked like I was putting myself at risk with those "leveraged positions" I mean, I could be or am a total tard.
What I do know is after looking at it, and then after realizing I could buy fractions of a bitcoin and just have that at face value. I went with that instead.
It just made more sense to me. Oh, it like "silver bullets". You know how you can buy silver bars and stuff? Well they make bullets too. That makes way more sense to me because not only is it silver and a currency, it has a function too. That is exactly how I feel about Crypto. Its a stock but I can also use it. As in buy things. Made enough sense to me at the time to put my money into that and not look back at stocks.
