Myers-Briggs is one personality test of many. Each test has different measurement axes and different frequency distributions of results across the population. MB is popular on Zig Forums specifically and only because the most common results here happen to be the least common results in the normal population. The only thing that matters is at the end taking the test, it tells Zig Forums autists that they're the 1%. That's why Zig Forums likes it, because it tells them they're special.
There are innumerable other personality tests which break personality down along different axes, but either because of those different axes or because results are less granular (Like enneagrams which have 9(?) different categories instead of 16, etc), they don't tell Zig Forums autists that they're part of the 1%. These get ignored because they don't tell them they're special enough.
That's all there is to it. There is nothing uniquely accurate, scientific, or superior about the way MB breaks down personality. It just does it in a particular and granular-enough way that it makes chan autists feel like they're in an exclusive club.

I was later told by my parents I tested into the gifted and talented program for science, but they didn’t do the class because not enough students were in it
I’m 99% sure I was tested for a learning disability and it was all a larp. The only thing I can say is I just picked up on what my older brother did in school and basically knew ahead of time what I needed to learn and I had a very good reading ability
