Technically, iexec could function as a base layer for matching and liquidity engines so tokens can have interoperability with price stability via liquid exchange through defi protocols.
Then again I have my doubts about the direction of most of defi currently.

I’m talking about full on exchange engines running dark pool defi liquidity pool matching engines so that chains can interoperate with as little slippage/transaction cost as possible. Essentially decentralised HFT. Plug the pools into cash exchanges to act as mm’s providing return to liquidity miners. Bancor on steroids. Whether it would be amtifragile or not is a different question but I’m sure somebody will do it if the infrastructure is there.
Iexec has been working with a number of defi projects for >2 years too so they are familiar with the possibilities.
