It will happen on a long enough timeline, surely. Platinum seems very cheap right now, only silver seems cheaper.

Anyone else find it cool thinking about how well into the 19th century you could pay with the same coinage anywhere, as long as it seemed reasonably legit?
You could get on a boat in San Francisco with American or Spanish gold and silver coins in your purse, sail into Hong Kong, Batavia or Manila and use your money without any problems at all.
The world was like a libertarian paradise in this respect. And perhaps some day, it will be again.

thanks fren
so last thread people were talking about the us reserve of gold.if the normal fags were told it was emptied would they start to panic buy pms?

platinum would be more sensitive to industrial/manufacturing demand or at least economic activity?

They wouldn't give a shit even if it were true. They're normies.

Depends on the industrial demand I think If they can find some use for it that palladium doesn't fill or if they decide that platinum is just more cost effective Platinum is (I believe) 5-10x scarcer than gold But palladium is about 30x more scarce than gold Platinum was only so expensive in the past because people were using it for catalytic converters, then they decided that palladium was better for that use Platinum has one of the highest melting points of all industrial metals though so I won't be surprised if that quality becomes highly desirable in the future

is evading filters against Zig Forums rules?
I'm not seeing that rule

I mean you can kinda do this now with a Visa debit card Every airport has arms in it that accept Visa and will allow you to withdraw funds in the current country's currency It's pretty cool
You're on a list for posting on this racist website for pedos and literal communist bloc propagandists
Daniel Walker

is there a website that tell yo the good ones from the scamming stores?
Joseph Phillips
Provided you have a credit card that is a travel card you won't pay conversion fees, and most banks let you pull out local currency with a small surcharge. Nowadays with networked banks it's pretty effortless to change currencies, I think the EU was retarded to adopt the Euro because single currency basically became obsolete within two or three decades and now they have all the bullshit of a fiat currency no one has control over.
That’s not the same at all. In the past you could literally use your own physical money overseas, with no conversion required. Completely different from either changing it to a local one, or using a card which isn’t physical commodity money valued for its inherent properties.

thats a nice though but irl chinks usually had european coins validated with specific merchants before they could be used. Still though amongst most european nations and their colonies this would be viable.
Normalfags live paycheck to paycheck at best and many even have a negative net worth due to massive debt. Even if they were somehow made aware of the situation they would be priced out of the market by the time they even figure out gold and silver coins still exist outside the latest disney pirate movie.
I wish I had a corvid bro. Years ago I used to feed peanuts to this one friendly crow that lived near my house and he would always seem so happy to see me everytime I got home.
