Also have fun user
i havent watched anime since 2015
All anime made after 2015 is western-influenced made-for-Crunchyroll shit that pulls all its punches.
Prove me wrong.
Thanks. Held off on watching Monster for so long and it's a lot better than I thought it would be
>Kono 86!
>SONO 86!
>86!
I like it.
Its better than the movies, i think
lum a cute!
I started Dougram a while ago but started watching it again.
Started Votoms and took a break. Started Monster and taking it in 3-4 episode chunks. Burned through BNA out of curiosity. Started Neon Genesis and it fucking sucks. I am 5 episodes in and it's been nothing but bipolar autism, flipping between a robot with a limp noodle for a spine and an incoherently screeching sperg. Wtf, I was told it was a landmark anime. I'll give it a few more episodes, but my expectations have drastically dropped.
You should keep watching Eva but at least you're not a retard that refuses to watch early mecha series.
Re-watching with friends who've never seen. Holds up really well.
dropped k-on thinking about picking it back up
You should, its really good
If anything, I prefer the designs in Votoms better than mechas nowadays. They keep it compact and realistic instead of these seemingly impervious machines that never take more damage than a busted arm. I don't know about the roller-skating tank treads bit, but I could easily see a small battalion of Armored Troopers being deployed on a battlefield than a single Gundam or these evangelion things
Rolling through Symphogear and Utena
Eva is obviously not going for being realistic. Gundam has plenty of mech designs that vary a lot. And you say "nowadays" but super robots were more a think of the past (before VOTOMS, which itself was influenced by Gundam along with almost every other "real robot" series) than they are now. Gundam was and just continued to be more of link between super and real robot than either itself. And some of the designs or maybe just design spirit stuck around because of how popular they were. VOTOMs might have more "realistic" mechs but I'd say it's far from realistic (or more realistic) outside of that. It's got much of the same supersoldier war drama stuff as Gundam does.
Watched the first 20 episodes of this and just finished the manga a few days ago. The whole experience was great and a real breath of fresh air.
Right now I'm on Zig Forums
Absolute comedy genius
Is this supposed to be a Nip version of Frankenstein's monster?
Ishuzoku Reviewers
BNA: I've seen the first 3 episodes and the animation is fantastic without any evident 3DCG.
Yuru Camp: may be the pinnacle of Iyashikei.
And occasionally, some Hayate no Gotoku and Layton Mystery Tanteisha.
Good memories
Mmm... may consider...
Not in the sense of having an actual inhuman monster roaming... but maybe it has some commonalities in the psychological suspense of being always one step behind a murderous "monster".
