You cannot learn japanese. It's impossible.
>learned nip to read kumiko's books
It was a good investment
Have you really?
Not even Kumeta can comprehend Japanese.
Only 1 is real kanji.
No need to thank me
>going to phase out kanji like they did in korea
sounds like something someone would say if they don't have enough grasp of the language to understand how reliant the language has become on kanji to distinguish homophones
Imagine missing the point of the image that hard
This should be the kind of captcha used for Zig Forums and /jp/.
Learning some far east gook tongue so you can translate obscure smut and brag to people on forums
Why?
I don't even know Japanese in the slightest but I know the word for dog because of an anime had a gag where the character ate a hot dog and did the kanji as a pose.
You can't learn Japanese. Being able to read Hiragana doesn't qualify you for anything
ok nerd
The homophone problem arises because of kanji in the first place
You missed 太
Because fuck clicking on an infinite amount of fading buses or wondering if I should select that square that has a tiny fraction of the traffic light.
I didn't
That wasn't 太
太もも...
How about removing both kanji and sino-japanese words?
already far too deep though. most koreans were forbidden to learn them so didn't affect the language in that way (as much)
look again. wrong stroke.
How does it?
If english had kanji you would be able to distinguish homophones such as orange by the glyph
Do you know that the homophone problem in japanese is mainly due to sino-japanese words? Homophone problem is used as a justification to preserve kanji but it is specifically due to throwing shitton of 漢語 in standard Japanese post meiji that the language got riddled with homophones.
But they are right in keeping them, they can't just delete the already existing words from the language.
Languages don't suddenly start developing different characteristics because of their writing system. Look at English, if that were true, the spoken English would have to start "self-correcting" shit to fit the archaic spellings. But it does not. In fact, the very existence of archaic spelling and spelling reforms tells you a lot about how much a writing system influences the language it's trying to describe.

>already existing words
Already existing words in whose language during edo? Japanese dialect spoken by which class during edo? Japanese used by most people had really few sino-japanese words until meiji reformation. Meiji era saw the creation of shitton of sino-japanese words and also a standard version of japanese which had extremely high number of sino-japanese words that will be taught to nips all over Japan as a part of compulsory education. japanese part of japanese language was killed during this period.
Don't get me wrong. I am not for phasing out kanji from modern Japanese.
they arbitrarily fucked up the language with kango, no reason they couldn't undo this if their elites weren't snobbish chinkiphiles obsessed over muh 国語
It’s false equivalence to compare English with japanese here. 1) Kanji held the potential for creating/usage of 漢語 2)漢語 are mainly responsible for homophones in japanese.
Zig Forums should learn hiragana and katakana to help look up manga/anime when posted without an english name.
Damn Japs, they ruined Japan.
