Not that user and I don't really talk about this, but I feel trans people are honestly mentally ill patients who have not got the treatment they needed. "I feel like I could be a girl or a man" makes no sense and you can't do it based on a feeling or because you like make up as a man or like to dress up as a man if you're woman. It makes sense if they're hermaphrodite or have some actual genetic disorder going on, but usually that's not the case and when certain groups encourages them to transition, they're then treated and looked at as garbage and get no support group except the ones who has also transitioned. They do this out of fear of being alone and want to fit in or have this some sort of fantasy that they can be a cute girl/boy, it honestly feels like a fad at this point.

There are plenty of artists with serious mental disorders that have made and continue to make art. I don't know if I'm replying to anything in particular with your post, it's just something that came to mind while reading it. People harp on someone being a tranny but nobody makes any big deal about anything else made by mentally ill people. I don't know if there's really any other examples from anime/manga off the top of my head (some people would consider being a pedophile a mental illness and there's plenty of those, both in anime and in other forms of art) but it's still something that happens.

Well they do have gender dysphoria, the problem is that you can't "cure" it. With a lot of mental issues you just accept them and continue on the best you can, this is no different. Thinking that because mental illnesses are called illnesses they can be cured is wrong. The best course of action is to let them accept who they are and continue like that, with help of course, which is what happens with most serious mental illnesses. Of course there's a culture that politized this completely but you also can't demonize it to this extent, which is just a fad on this site anyways.
