It's Rumiko Takahashi, we don't expect something deep or a a good romance. The best she can do is design her own characters, cute girls, and some good moments with comedy. And to me Ranma 1/2 wins this, simply because it belongs to my generation and I grew up watching this series. I also liked Inuyasha as a modern shounen.

Nostalgia is a terrible excuse to favor a series with that kind of bias.
MI and UY are her best works. UY laid the groundwork for manga ever since with the recurring gags and having the best girls around. You have to understand that Ranma followed that model on steroids, but wasn’t as good nor did it have as many good girls other than just Akane and Shampoo.
Rinne is a highly underrated gem. It’s basically Inuyasha done right with a mix of UY. It’s sad it didn’t gain the clout that it deserved.

There was a brief one made on BBC but UY never got a good dub. There is a dub for Beautiful Dreamer as well but once again, the dubs are garbage and would heed against them. The Jap voice actors are amazing anyway so you'd do yourself a disservice watching anything but the sub
