There's nothing to talk about. And I assume other anons do what I do. Wait years to build up a backlog. Reading it month to month isn't fun when barely anything happens.

I don't doubt it. But I will catch up on it next year or something, when I can read 10+ chapters in a row.
Not even saying it's bad, the stuff I read was pretty fun.

It's good, but it really shows the author is a 1 trick pony.
You could easily put the DD characters and locations in Doro and it wouldn't stand out.

I guess they just drown fast because the question of why nobody is talking about it gets answered fast

Not a whole lot is happening so far.
Its more like Q just having fun writing gags and Cute Murderers Doing Cute Things.
Although the most recent chapter set up some actual plot threads it seems with Hajime meeting the crew.

Its alright, seems like a comedy about space pirate shenanigans in chaos space with the horrors inside it being the casts.

Didn't it take years for Dorohedoro to get noticed? Like, literally over a decade?

I'm reading this because it's the same author of my favorite manga of all time and it seems interesting so far but I kinda wish Sanko and Shimada never took their masks off, and that the shopkeeper was given one of her own because the faces are just too similar to Dorohedoro's characters

Sanko=Shin
Shimada=Noi
Shopkeeper=Nikaido

Still good though

Too slow to justify having threads constantly up, and way too early into the story to have threads debating anything about the plot.

I like it, but just as the other anons said, there’s still not much, the main crew is only beginning to form now

Dorohedoro is a great choice for a number 1 of all time choice.
Its definitely in my, rather nebulous, top 5.

Zig Forums has always been populated mainly by popular shows so seinen threads tends to die rapidly otside of the most populars ones.

Short answer Zig Forums needs a seinen board for slower/less popular shows.

Monthly series thats pretty niche that is only a year in so the talking points are either "barely anything has happened" or "oh I didn't know this existed". Great so far though.

generally speaking nobody talks about monthlys until they've been out for a few years and have a good backlog

You do realise the publisher doesn't define the genre right ?
Its still classified as seinen absolutely everywhere anyway.
