If Gon gets his nen back then that officially makes him the worst shounen protaganist out there and bumps the series down a few notches. Nanaka was already an asspull, but if he gets his nen back then his entire sacrifice would be worthless and have no weight. It'd be on par with a character dying to motivate someone only to be revived right after that battle thereby pissing all over his death.
If Gon gets his nen back then that officially makes him the worst shounen protaganist out there and bumps the series...
Don't worry, he never will
Because Togashi will go into permanent hiatus during the boat arc
>complaining about things that haven't happened
Gon will 100 percent get his nen back, assuming Togashi doesn't just drop dead or the series gets axed. If Gon does get back into the spotlight though he will get his nen back, do you think Togashi is just going to have him in school now? I would have massive respect for Togashi if that actually happened though, which it won't. Gon's nen being taken away is just an excuse to not include him in the current arc.
/thread
Are you one of those people scared to make predictions cause you're afraid of being wrong? Gon is getting his nen back unless Togashi drops dead. It'll probably be years from now, going at this rate, maybe even over a decade and most likely after the next arc or two but if you think he's just tossing Gon to the side like that then lol.
>still complaining about things that haven't happened
Doesn't he just need to reopen his nodes or something to get his aura back?
I swear this dude keeps posting the same shit of Gon getting his nen back, from this moment onward, I shall name him ''GonSchizo'' poster
>It'd be on par with a character dying to motivate someone only to be revived right after that battle thereby pissing all over his death.
You mean Kite?
The series thrives on asspulls
O MY RUBBER NEN
O MY CONVENIENT WISH GRANTING SISTER
Gon will get some convoluted justification as to why he gets his nen back . And fans will justify it that it took him forever to get it or he had to work so hard to get it or whatever nonsense, just like they justified that retarded Hisoka revival.
It's a Wan Piss fag. The same comment was made 20 minutes before the thread was created.
>If Gon gets his nen back then that officially makes him the worst shounen protaganist out there
It makes him Kurosaki Bitchigo-tier.
Why is Gon getting Nen back so bad but Chrollo getting Nen back good?
Doesn't Chrollo getting his Nen back invalidate all of Yorknew and make Kurapika seem like a small-time baby bitch?
Not surprised. Must be tough for him trying to contend with a series that has actual consequences for its MC.
More like complaining about things that will never happen because HxH will never return from its hiatus again.
Is that supposed to expose me? People post in more than one thread at a time. But yeah HxH isn't as great as people make it out to be and it's not my fault Huntards get prissy when you talk about its flaws such as pic related.
> actual consequences
Ah yes Hisoka getting raped by Chrollo and instead of him dying Togashi was too pussy to kill of a fanfavorite and revived him with one of the worst asspulls in recent memory that it became a meme on Zig Forums.
It’s just a matter of time before he gets his own OH MY DEMON HERITAGE and unlocks a power even beyond his adult form.
You know I never understand why people are so sure that Meruem will never be surpassed after the HORRIBLE powercreep this series went through. Fucking Toguro became a literal who at the end of the series. Even Sensui did as well. I see no reason as to why every troupe member and their mother (so long as they make it far enough) would surpass the RG at least.
the implication at the end of the york new arc was that the spider won, they got chrollo back, they got intel on kurapika, kurapika lost his best chance at killing the spider. chrollo's nen seal being temporary was a natural extension of that.
gon gave up the potential to ever use Nen again. so, even if he has aura because he's still a living being, he can't use Nen. Togashi reconfirmed this in the chapter 381 color page.
>O MY RUBBER NEN
Not an asspull, it has been explained many times to you brainlets
Who says we like Chrollo getting his nen back. Gon getting his back though is 10x worse though and again pisses all over his sacrifice.
Only shonenshitters disliked this. It doesn't even make him overpowered because by the very next arc he's knocked back down to being nobody again. Yusuke literally loses his final fight in the series, and the guy he was fighting was holding back.
>has actual consequences for its MC.
Kek, Not even a wanpiss fag but luffy has suffered more pain and actual loss than Gon ever has. Hiatusfags are delusional.
You can explain something and it still be dumb
That Kurapika guy seems like a big deal, especially with all the images posed about HxH being good and the fact he was apparently good enough to blatantly rip off. Are you sure he didn't just quietly replace as the protagonist? It's not like Togashi has any reason to bring Gon back, he's already deconstructed or subverted shit and it'd be more ballsy than Toriyama to do it and actually stick with.
I can't wait for Kurapika's "life shortening" to not matter at all outside of maybe a footnote in the epilogue. If HXH ever finishes at least.
shi shi shi shi
>he died single, never marrying
Do any of these sacrifices mean anything in the grand scheme of things. I feel like they're all supposed to be ostensibly bad for the user but we never actually feel the effects of their deal or whatever.
Actual consequences?
The creator of OH MY RUBBER NEN?
Lol
How is it possible for a series to be on a +1 year hiatus and not a word from the author?
But he will get his nen back since he got saved by a demon that was never hinted before that luckily was connected to his best friend.
Gon Nen is the hero´s version of OH MY RUBBER NEN.
What's wrong with powercreep? That's besides the fact that a literal who with broken nen abilities and restrictions can outperform any character in the series if the plot demands it. This isn't DBZ or OP where shit like Haki gets introduced halfway through because logia became too broken.
You're one to talk.
Barely any of those are asspulls. learn what the word means.
Follow your own advice.
no Togashi would write something like
>and so the last descendant of the Kurta clan dies, not leaving anything behind, bringing back to the earth all of the eyes of his massacred brethen. The Kurta Clan has now become history and soon future generations came to think the Scarlet Eyes as nothing more of an exaggerated legend.
>the end
I count one asspull that's inconsequential to the story and a dozen not asspulls that were either explained directly or make perfect sense in context.
hunter"chads" and the least literate people on Zig Forums
>tfw you realize all characters that have had the post-mortem nen phenomenon have been stated to have an essential emotional will and passion towards a specific goal. ie sun and moon dude, Neferpitou, Phinks implying that killing Kurapika would prolly kill Chrollo back in Yorknew.
>Hisoka's very existence is to satisfy his sexual need to fight strong opponents
>his only goal in life and point of existence is to receive this sexual gratification
>gets btfo by Chrollo and is on the brink of losing his entire life purpose, goal and only motivation
>Oh my ruber nen very justified and concept foreshadowed alllllll the way back in yorknew
A lot of powercreep is bad in everything, haki isn't really powercreep as it only serves to nerf logias, it doesn't raise the power ceiling any higher. Meruem was introdeced far into the series out of nowhere and he was supposed to be the power ceiling but he has since been creeped.
Only literal spergs fanboy over HxH it makes sense with the literal word vomit Togashi throws on each page. Also Usopp having to leave the crew because of his dispute with Luffy>>>>>>Killua second guessing staying with Gon because of the magic needle in his forehead. I swear Togashi himself has aspergers and doesn't understand relationships and I'm not surprised more people don't shit on that magic needle bullshit.
>If Gon gets his nen back then that officially makes him the worst shounen protaganist out there and bumps the series down a few notches.
>It'd be on par with a character dying to motivate someone only to be revived right after that battle thereby pissing all over his death.
Alright, it has been done on a grander scale.
Didn't it also kill the hype for this series?
You know an even better way of doing it is this:
Yes Gon gets his nen back but he will never again have the monstrous nen output that he had back then.
That's the real sacrifice.
Yes.
Which is okay, since there are plenty of nen users out there who, despite not being nen prodigies, have achieved great things and taken on much stronger opponents, like Morel and co.
Gone will have to be really creative in order to catch up with killua despite his weaker jankenpon.
Lots of those are out of order, though.
