What is the fastest you've ever dropped a show?

This has got to beat yours where you evidently actually started up the show.
That said,
>648x365
Why are you watching anime on your watch? Don't you have a bigger screen available?

>>read the title
>>decide not to bother trying
That doesn't count. You have to actually start watching an episode in order to drop it.

I never drop anything I've started just so I can whine on Zig Forums after I finish it

Well, not exactly anime but I dropped Witcher after the very first episode.

Same, what a total mess

Elfen Lied.
Watched maybe two minutes or three and said no. I do kinda feel bad for not giving it an actual chance though. Maybe I'll pick it back up.

I dropped over 1000 anime before I was even born, I was dropping anime in the womb. I drop many shows before they even air, in fact before the creators even conceive of them. You got nothin on me, kid.

If you've read the books you quickly realise it's just a complete dog's breakfast. The three Jackdaws story about the golden dragon (I'm sitting like 4m away from the book, so too far to get up and check the name of the story) was completely butchered - it was vastly better in the book. In the book he ganks Eyck, but doesn't actually kill him. He splats the reavers too, and Yarpen Zilgrin is actually great. The dragon doesn't die either.

Geralt also gets to bed Tea or Vea, it isn't stated. In the book he just gets spurned by Yennefer.

Sorry in the SHOW he just gets Yencucked. In the books he bags a Zerrikanian.

Definitely Charlotte. Knew nothing about it besides watching a small clip from the beginning. Was thinking of all the cool possibilities it had to offer. I got two episodes in before i dropped it. Just lame season filler.

Came here to post this.
Excellent directing choice.

I dropped Medaka Box at ep2 or 3 then I read the manga and it was great

it's soo shit but still worth it somehow

i dropped goblin slayer after the first episode because of the shitty cg and shock value existing just because, but that's pretty normal
something more interesting would be rurouni kenshin
idk how some of you guys watched it past the first episode, that's way too many cringy tropes and cliches for me personally

You're so fucking stupid holy shit

I dropped Nichijou after the first ep because it just didn't click with me, also I dropped nightswift nurses after a couple of minutes because fuck it.

About 90 seconds in, Plastic Memories as soon as the intro ended it told you the end explained how it was basically a copy/paste of prior shows, and spoiled virtually everything.

i usually give a show at least 2-4 episodes.

K-On when I heard Yui start talking.

boku no hero, when the kid got his powers. and then when i read what his power did in the internet annihilate any chance of picking it up again.

See I've dropped a lot of shows within the first episode, sometimes minutes, even, if the character designs don't click with me. I can only watch bishoujo type shows--without exception--and character design, followed by animation, backgrounds, and effects are the most important factors up front. Next is pacing of the comedy/drama and how the overall ambience settles between that and the visuals. I love melodrama, but if it's all melodrama and no kind of slapstick comedy here and there; I can't watch it. Also if it's nonstop slapstick or parody and no melodrama; I can't watch it. Then comes exposition, plot, and conclusion, in order of importance to me. I cannot watch anything pre-2000, moe, two person romance tales, mecha, anything that actually tries to be serious, or all female main cast. So once I figured out I can only watch bishoujo, romcom, harem stuff the percentage of shows I dropped gradually went way down.

>what's the fastest you've ever been filtered?
the first bakemonogatari shot was to filter out gays and feminist

dropped shigatsu wa kimi no uso, when the mc became "unable" to hear the piano, so fucking stupid

Definitely in less than 5 minutes for more than a few. I remember dropping Fuuka at the first panty shot so that was probably in 45 seconds lol. I'm glad I did since it as a shit adaptation of a trashy but fun manga that I did read fully.

>Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
I think 8 or 9 minutes in. Shit was so bland and generic I couldn't continue. I don't remember why I even picked it up to begin with.

5 seconds. First impressions are important and the show started off by presenting the viewer with a corner cutting 3dcg dragon.

I dropped Lucky Star a couple minutes in when they just went on and on and on about how they liked to fucking eat something.

Yeah my IQ is clearly too high to waste my time with that inane shit

That first episode was painful. It took me 3 tries to finish it, but after that ihe series was quite enjoyable.

Well, individual stories being butchered (including cutting off most of the jokes which were the best thing in the books) is one thing, but the greatest sin of the adaptation is butchering Geralt/Ciri relationship (from being "something more" in the books to just destiny in the show).

BASED.

I dropped monogatari at the panty scene but picked up later since I wanted to see the shinobu scenes.
I also dropped witcher at ep 1, then I tried watching more and it got more retarded so I dropped it again.

>Literally the first shot is pantsu close-up
>There is a timer on the screen and the audio is a ticking sounds.
>What is comedy.
It never fails to amaze me how low IQ and incapable of getting a joke people can be. I watched this as like my 4th anime ever. I was a teen and genuinely believed fanservice = bad. And yet I stil got the joke.
