>g-guys One Piece anime finally gonna get good again during Wano Kuni, we promise!
>it's still the same boring shit with garbage animation and abysmal pacing
Every single fucking time.
Why did people hype Nagamine so much again?
DBS Tournament arc was awful and Z movie looked pretty bad.
G-guys One Piece anime finally gonna get good again during Wano Kuni, we promise!
>One Piece anime finally gonna get good again
It never was.
Wano is the worst arc so far.
I like the Wano arc so far. Luffy and Zoro being the central focus for 10 episodes or so was nice.
>it's still the same boring shit with garbage animation
It's literally not. There's no point of comparison with the garbage tier it was on WCI and before that.
Wanopiss
In the anime, yes.
In the manga it's currently Top 5 material.
>still uses a lot of DBS-tier copy-paste of frames, still shots and speed lines during fights
>still plenty of off-models
>a lot of low-frame animation in general
How is it better?
Colours got better, but that's about it.
Not to mention storyboarding is still complete ass (first act is fairly short, but feels like it goes on forever in anime) and the fact that hack like Yonemura gets to work on the series at all shows what a joke of a company modern Toei Animation is.
It's bad, but still one of the better post-TS arcs.
It's not annoying like WCI, but just bland and boring so far like most of Dressrosa.
Wano is boring. I'm reading the manga.
The worst arc, the prison subplot was the cheapest, stupidest writing i have ever read.
>but feels like it goes on forever in anime
I don't know what you mean, it doesn't "feel like it". It just does. It's two fucking cours.
Based
Fishman island was the worst arc.
True
Why can't the anime take a year and a half off and just animate the cover chapters?
quality adaptation is not the purpose of the anime
>not dressrosa or punk hazard
Read the manga, pleb.
This. It's there to market anime.
PH had tolerable 3rd act at least. Dressrosa was bloated and overstayed its welcome, but there was a lot of great stuff about it.
FI is almost irredeemable. Everything about it sucked and twice as hard in anime.
Fishman island: was a massive diappointmnent - people expected it to recapture the feel of Skypiea but it turned out to be mediocre. It missed the huge expectations by a long shot, but isn't quite as terrible as people say when looked at as a self-contained arc.
6/10
Dress Rosa: had a few okay moments but dragged on way too long with a fucking tournament as the centerpiece, the literal death kiss of the battle manga genre.
5/10
Punk Hazard: The absolue low-point of the entire manga, what a convoluted mess of an arc. When I read it I was genuinely worried that Oda had finally snapped or developed serious health issues. Whoever was the WSJ editor from that time should commit Sudoku for being asleep on the job. The dragon at the beginning was kind of fun.
2/10
>but isn't quite as terrible as people say when looked at as a self-contained arc.
It sucks as a self-contained arc specifically, because everything about it was either explaining past shit or foreshadowing the following.
Villians suck (not _a_single_memorable_bad_ guy_ is awful even by One Piece standards). Team arrive at the island, arc introduces boring Royal Family and Hody Pirates then Jimbei explains pointless shit for like 1/3 of the arc and then finally (pretty lackluster) final battle.
At the very least they could have let Jimbei join team right there. That way it wouldn't have felt so pointless.
Punk Hazard at least had Law as well as Ceasar being a much better villain than Hody.
>One Piece anime finally gonna get good
that's what OP fans always say.
One Piece isn't good in the first place and even the best adaptaton possible would feel like a subpar show.
Based
100 episodes into this show and goddamn it's so long.
Watch it 4x the speed.
Greedy CEOs want more money.
so new chapter in friday or not?
The anime definitely improved with the staff and style changes, nicer colors, lineart, better storyboarding, they get more creative with pacing so even if it doesn't cover a lot of content per ep it doesn't feel excruciating to watch. Not gonna say it's a masterpiece now, but the episodes I've tuned into have been enjoyable and not fucking insulting shit like what Dressrosa anime was. And considering that it's like one of the few ongoing weekly anime it's impressive it looks as good as it does, I can't imagine working on a weekly animated series like that.
also I love Tama and her stinky cunny
Pedo leave
Break this week. We're getting chapters bimonthly now
