I really liked it at the start because it felt like a two-man show of æqual wits, but after a while I completely lost track of what was going on.
I dislike these seme–uke romances where one is completely and utterly passive, typically the audience self-insert, who's also super dense and the other is hyper aggressive.
Maid-Sama! was the only thing that did it wel, because Misaki is a more active and colorful form of passive.

I mean that's one way to describe it, but it's more like submissive top-power bottom for many of these episodic straight romances. Uke will try every trick in the book to get their seme to have their way with them, seme will be the shy recipient but have moments where it's clear they're still the top in the relationship outside of teasing.

good series too. i like how the angel/demon setting is just an allusion to class/social division and all the series boils down to is just a setup for the MC and heroine to flirt with each other. This is the right way to do this kind of story, unlike Kaguya which just comes off as heavy handed/unpleasant in it's pretentiousness.
