That’s a problem in any story with power ups and secret techniques. You need to explain why the character didn’t use it before, especially if you just saw them pushed to the limit a couple fights ago.

jesus I remember i stopped watching around after that fight because (besides it being cringey) it had nothing to keep you interested. The main character is fucking as boring as a rock but nothing has stakes and everything just feels like low effort in the fights. enemies have no character no design. just a boring fest of shit. I didnt even think to myself im done watching this garbage. I just forgot about it and never continued it lol thats how irrelevant it was.
