The thing is that they actually have no cash left in the back, so they have to take debt to finance the divvy. Im not a fan of a company going in debt for its divvy desu. Also americans still are going retard and undervaluing the danger of the 'rona virus.
The main reason i sold is that the opec plans to expand its exposure on the oil market to throw more barrels at the market. The opec in avg only need like 20$ to break even with their production costs. Exxon needs 75$ , and we will never hit 75$ again because saudi arabia can flood the market whenever they want with cheap oil.
Exxon is nearly done. The board also constantly refuses to invest in other energy researching. Petrochemics my ass, saudi arabia fucks all in the ass here
I just feel like a retard that i fell so much for the oil meme
Im feeling comfy with my 20% cash stack i got from my XOM shares..
There's no reason but market hype. doesn't mean you shouldn't profit off of it

I ain't missing the gravy train this time. Call me the ultimate FOMO but the earnings calls for Q2 will be insane for tech. And yes Tesla is considered tech since it's not just an automaker.

>Utilities still have 25% upside potential compared to pre-covid levels Why isn't this mooning? Millions of new electric devices need more electricity no?
I totally agree TSLA is tech, they will probably take the console route, which is to make low margin cars, but make their money on monthly subscriptions(such as self driving).
Nolan Gray
I expect a fairly large bounce off $10 for EVRI, will you iron hands for more gains or sell at $10?
Reminder that someone bought 140K of this at $1.20
Daniel Taylor
No the thing behind Exxon is that nearly 40% of the company is owned by income funds, the board is aware of this and will try to not cut the divvies. At this point the oil price will only decrease due to cheap oil from russia and saudi assabia... Also there is literally no demand currently and the demand was also stagnating.
TL;DR
Exxon has no cash in the books , the last year they had like 3bn$ as cash net in the books. Most of it must be gone already to the q1 divvies and wirte offs. I rather stick to Shell , which has had 18bn$ in net cash last year and cut the divvy took out a huge ass loan and sits comfy on 40bn$ right now and still pays divvies (even low but its eventually not as retard as Exxon claiming with all hands on the stupid oil market)
Shell at least sees the trend of new energy coming , meanwhile exxon still invests in shale oil which is not only dangerous for whole areas but also not profitable anymore.
I want to meet the people who buy the top of these pumps, there was a faggot who took out a 50k loan on reddit(posted here) and bought in BTC at like 19.3k.
Jacob Howard
Will EVRI dip on open???
Dominic Brooks
Buy 7/17 calls if you're brave or 7/31 if you're feeling a little less brave Diamond hands to expiration, TSLA has too much momentum
Austin Ortiz
Where are my fellow bobos at? Did you all forget that no mater how much money Jerome prints, he can't give value to a worthless asset?
I have lost so much money, but we’re nearing the S&P ATH once more. I am ready for the ultimate rug pull after this “return to normal”. If Trump is COVID+ the market will literally flash crash into oblivion.
Guys I kept shilling Major Precious Metals the Last few days and made 10% with it over the weekend.
Jump in now or its to late
Thomas Thomas
Should I sell XOM? I was planning to hold until next year or so on the logic that it's too big to fail and oil will eventually recover. Now I'm not so sure.
Julian Nguyen
This shit is too stressful. I don't put any more than 5% of my portfolio into high risk trades so even if I gain 100% I still feel like shit knowing I threw away my luck on a measly 5% gain. It's still profit but I can feel myself aging with each trade. Might just throw everything into ETFs and do other stuff soon.
