That reminds me. She just Disappeared entirely from the original anime after her fight with the scythe arrancar, Nnoitra Gilga. Kinda sucks she didn't show up in Fake Karakura or Fullbringer or any of the later anime arcs.

I yet to read the LN, but I've heard that she is featured here.

Get ready to be disappointed OP. She only shows up at the beginning of the arc and never comes back again. The only way is if they change somethings near the end because the ending was rushed as fuck and they teased some characters making a return but it never happened.

At most she will get to kill some fodder quincies. Even in the Urahara vs Askin fight she did nothing. Atleast Grimmjow hit the finishing blow.

It never felt like HM was in any danger. Quincies killing Hollows threatens only SS and the human world. Quincified Arrancars stopped being a concern as soon as Ichigo came to HM. And we didn't find out Yhwach wanted to merge all realms until he killed SK, at which point nobody even remembered HM anymore.

The dude who was recruiting arancar for juha Bach in hueco mundo. Had a big fight with ichigo, trapped him when he was going to ss, then somebody flew out of nowhere and bisected him, then pointed their sword at kiske. I'm trying to remember who it was. I'm thinking it was adult nel since kiske shows up with her with the bracelet that let's her stay an adult when they are about to raid juha bach's fortress for the final battle.

Grimmjow kills Opie, then strikes a "deal" with Urahara to help him with the Quincy invasion because he's tsundere for Ichigo. Nel comes along for the ride and works as backup in Urahara's keikaku to defeat the poison Quincy guy.

Ty for that, for some reason I couldn't remember the reveal. Also was nel a vasto lorde? I like to imagine she was before arancarification (is that a word? Hollowfication is so I feel it should be acceptable...) but I was just wondering if it was confirmed or denied anywhere.

Even Nell would be far better winner than fucking Orihime.

Does she have any redeemable traits? Who exactly is she written for?

She has zero meaningful moments in the story (that aren't Tatsumaki-related). 90% of her lines were "KUROSAKI-KUN." She doesn't turn into a loli on-demand. She's not a DFC. She isn't the biggest titcow in the series. She doesn't have a tan. She is neither small nor overly large. She isn't tsundere, kuudere, dandere, or yandere. She isn't smart or dumb.

How is she anyone's best girl? She basically a hollow.
