>beastars' author gets revealed to be baki author's daughter (female)
>series immediately starts falling apart and becomes big shit
What kind of curse is this? Holy hell...
Beastars' author gets revealed to be baki author's daughter (female)
Curse? That's just the ogre way of writing
She seems big
Has there ever been any other parent-child mangaka pairs?
It became quite obvious her father is writing this ever since the Melon arc started.
4u
False. Speedreaders deserve the rope. She has consistency in her writing and there were so many hints about the future fight and crazy antics, I am not even joking.
That's cute as fuck
This
It gets better
>we didn't want to confirm anything until now because it looks like nepotism
>wait what do you mean Beastars is selling more than Baki
Probably, there are plenty of examples of people's family members being in the business. Siblings, couples, in-laws, etc. Though for your kid to be in the business you do have to be old and maybe those kids would want to be anonymous. The only famous mangaka's child I can think of was mutilated and left in a drainage ditch by some chinks in the 90's when she was 16. But her dad died 10 years earlier.
The nepotism is not that she got into the industry, it would be that she got into the exact magazine her dad has been one of the biggest names in for 30 years.
>The nepotism is not that she got into the industry, it would be that she got into the exact magazine her dad has been one of the biggest names in for 30 years.
Of course, but in reality he probably just opened a window of opportunity rather than have them hire his daughter just because
She was weak.
Obviously, I mean all nepotism works that way and there's nothing wrong with it. But it's rather that they don't want the work to only get popular by revealing the connection or say they won't cancel it because of who the new author is. Once it had proven itself without the established connection, it became okay to admit it.

source?
Source for what? You quoted a lot of different things that are all common knowledge.
>The only famous mangaka's child I can think of was mutilated and left in a drainage ditch by some chinks in the 90's when she was 16. But her dad died 10 years earlier.
t.paru
Ikki Kajiwara, the writer of Ashita no Joe (among many other things).
Based, sasuga speedreaders.
I actually enjoy the Melon arc, people just want the series to stay at Cherryton forever and become a shitty slice of life highschool drama.
The shitty high school melodrama was the worst part of the series by far, you have hundreds of other series where you can get the same shit
The part immediately after Legosi drops out and focused around world-building was the peak of the series, the Melon stuff has dragged on but it beats the school life bullshit at least
i don't mind his arc but goddam paru really needs to wrap up his arc already.
>Pai Hsiao-yen disappeared after leaving for her school, Hsing Wu High School,[1] on the morning of April 14, 1997. Her family received a ransom note of US$5,000,000 (equivalent to about $7,960,000 in 2019) along with a severed piece of her little finger and a photograph of a bound girl.
>Pai Hsiao-yen's mutilated body, weighted down with dumbbells, was found in a drainage ditch on April 28, 1997.[3] Investigators said that she had been dead for ten days before her body's discovery. Ransom negotiations had continued after the likely time of Pai's death; an impersonator placed a telephone call to give Pai Bing-bing the impression that her daughter was alive. Tim Healy and Laurie Underwood of Asiaweek said that Pai was "apparently tortured" before her death.[2] The photograph of her naked dead body was leaked to the mass media, including the China Times, which printed it.
this happened before i was even born but i feel sad af
poor girl
Togashi and Naoko will groom their first born to take the reigns of Hunter x Hunter when Togashi passes so one day we may finish the manga
Yeah the final fight Is happening, I think that after the Melon arc comes the Legosi transformation arc or something like that. I wonder how much of the "teeth growing back" is just a red herring
OH MY KOMODO GENES
Are you even talking about the same person? Is Pai Bing-bing a mangaka?
Either way that's sad AF and I hope the perpetrators got karma'd. Always sucks to read about shit like that
I swear to god if Paru is all like "Legosi's protective instincts are SO strong that he magically grew his teeth back for the sole purpose of protecting herbivores" or some shit like that,I literally think I'm going to quit the series. P.S Paru, absolutely no one thought Louis sacrificed himself to become a blood bag.
She was half Taiwanese.
Her father, Ikki Kajiwara, was already dead since the late 80's so he didn't have to experience his daughter's horrific death. Also, the artist of Ashita no Joe had a younger brother who was his assistant in the 60's and then became a popular mangaka himself in the 70's in Shonen Jump before killing himself in the middle of a manga in the early 80's.
>an impersonator placed a telephone call to give Pai Bing-bing the impression that her daughter was alive
I see, I missed the word "her" when reading that the first time. Were the perpetrators for that ever caught? It's such scummy terrible shit
What the fuck is Paru cooking?
>Also, the artist of Ashita no Joe had a younger brother who was his assistant in the 60's and then became a popular mangaka himself in the 70's in Shonen Jump before killing himself in the middle of a manga in the early 80's.
Christ, it sounds like AnJ was as cursed as Joe himself
No clue, I'm just expecting ass pulls every chapter and enjoying the ride
he should combined the 2 best manga of his parents
Every single chapter, Paru's topping herself. She can't keep getting away with this.
It's fun, but I want off this ride
Yeah. Two of the three leaders killed themselves as they were being hunted and one got executed after the mom petitioned to reopen the capital sentence.
