Actually, the Japanese use of "bitch" as a term for a promiscuous woman comes from its English use several centuries ago. There is the term "a bitch in heat" used for female dogs that are sexually active, and so it wasn't a big leap to insult loose women by calling them bitches. Somewhere along the line the term changed in modern English to a woman that's nasty and unpleasant, but the Japanese still keep the old definition.
