5 million would be a life of luxury. 1.5-2 million would be a life of comfort. With 5million you could pay cash for two homes (one vacation house and one primary residence). You could then invest 1.5million in divy stocks and keep 500k in a money market or bonds. So you could then work a part time job or something to keep some other stream of income flowing in and be making 6 figures off of dividends.

I live in Switzerland. I'd probably need 5 million USD to live here comfortably. I could move somewhere cheaper, but the whole point of coming here was to give a good headstart to my future kids.

So here is my plan:

2. Have 2 kids asap
3. Work for 20 years while the kids are growing up
4. Move me and wife to low COL country and leave the kids to study or work, supporting them from overseas
5. Live super comfy life by the sea

If you have zero debt then any amount of money will feel comfy because you are at least free in your poverty.

Women follow groups, they're generally high in agreeableness. Surround them in a (((culture))) that promotes casual sex, being a whore/slut, and that's what they'll do. Unless they have something to counter that balance, like being raised in a nice household that instilled good values and morals, they'll default to the groupthink.

It depends really on where you live, what is your daily expenses, do you spend money on useless stuff? It all depends on the person but for me personally 3mln is made it money because you get reasonable passive income from this amount.
