The first dozen volumes were good.

Too much shounen fight, not enough trad shaman'ing.

Eventually we didn't even get much shounen fighting.
It was people showing off their super mega ultra turbo moves and getting one shot left and right.

It's ongoing in a different magazine under a different name. Takei divided the whole thing into big arcs for each faction. He finished the Death Zero thing with Hana and now he is doing some Marco thing because he is on Team Jesus. There is also going to be a story about Team Buddha.

There were a bunch of fights against the Patch. The arc was borderline filler other than the alien stuff, but there were actual fights.
