He's just like me...

Wait so the blond guy isn't playing nemesis?

>Alice is going to be the very first person to job to Hiro in the tournament
Holy fuck when does the Necro bullying stop?

Any good guesses on what the identity of the mysterious robed duelist could be?

shit game
dead show
even kids cringe at this mess

>everyone exists to make the two petclasses look good
Fucking cygames.

Kids have no sense of irony and think you're supposed to take the show seriously. Do you think yugioh somehow isn't cringe?

The story is fucking stupid but audio is really well done. Great soundtrack and the effects like Ignis Dragon's breath sounding like a fucking explosion are great. Imagine if Cygames put this kind of budget in some kind of medieval warfare murderhobo anime instead of this.

>implying Alice won't be the first person to BEAT Hiiro
I believe. Necro cucking dragons is a story as old as time. Hiiro getting knocked into losing bracket and climbing up to challenge Lucia who won winner's bracket is what will happen anyway.

Why is Princess Connect so good but this show so bad? What’s going on at Cygames?

Soulless corporate jews latched onto this show, so you get 48 episodes and a massive budget but the entire thing is devoid of any passion and tries to steal your money every 5 minutes. Shadoba is the victim here.

HAJIMARI NO HIKARI

Every single Hiro duel is exactly the same. It's straight repetitive. Character introduces their class mechanic, then Ignis Dragon sweeps the board and gets lethal. Even if this show becomes watchable later on, I can guarantee people will recommend skipping the first X number of episodes where he duels because they're a genuine waste of time.

this episode we got the fist OC card that would actually be playable in modern shadowverse, 1pp amulet that gives your followers hexproof is huge, and the legendary lion is playable i guess if only for the synergy with the amulet.

Hiro will win the tournament. At episode 12 he'll be undefeated, having beaten all of the other classes and Lucia for real. Then he becomes the main antagonist for the next 36 episodes. Is the anime saved?

It has to be something like this. Hiro's already being jobbed to by fucking Grandmasters and it's only episode 7. He's the tutorial protagonist and then some shit goes down, followed by our girl Mimori taking up her rightful place as true protagonist for the real story. The pacing and unrepentant Dragon overdose doesn't make any sense unless Cygames is pulling shenanigans. They're greedy but they're not that fucking stupid surely.

was he Yoshikage Kira's VA?

anime fucking when, favarobros?

>They're greedy but they're not that fucking stupid surely.
reminder 2nd season of bahamut was crap

Favaro wasn't murderhobo at all though. Cygames always goes a weirdly low-violence approach with their anime despite creating all kinds of cool warring factions type scenarios.

We had SnB Genesis, which was legit fantasy. But it's S2 ruined it forever because they had to go and hire a retarded nip live action soap opera writer.

It's going to be a deconstruction, KMR style.

I am so sick of Hiro winning. He legitimately should have lost this one. It was implied that they were looking to invite him to the tournament anyways, so there was no reason why he needed to win.

I honestly don't understand what they are going to do by the end of this tournament.
1 cour out of 4 and the MC is already the best in the world.

And the sexy loli Alice is jobbing to him next. Things are getting boring.

Seems like a yugioh copy.

At bare minimum other story arcs for different classes seems pretty likely. Hiro/Lucia plot is both way too self-contained and is progressing way too fast, to the point where Hiro turned into a god overnight while the rest of the cast are irrelevant. Mimori/Alice being another arc is just way too obvious to pass up. They kept quiet about the format because they don't want people skipping the broadcast until their preferred class shows up as the focus. 8 classes means they can make 4 pairs, and give each pair a 12 episode subplot a lot like how the game ran each as a parallel protagonist. Embryo's people might show up at the end each time to do plot things a lot like how Eris was at the end of the first for every class in game.
